  1. I haven’t research it enough and will be getting into the weeds on it. However, right now I don’t know how to put out the fire on a lithium battery - no matter how it’s manufactured - should 1 start in any way imaginable and I doubt that my boat’s fire extinguisher will be able to put it out.
  2. I have code review for my construction license every 2 years and one of the topics covered was about putting out lithium fires and it’s not that easy.
  3. Usually some music in the background, no ear buds. I have a smaller boat and need to be able to hear larger vessels near by that have a potential to swamp me.
  4. That's fair, let me do mine
  5. Again, I stated that I haven't researched it enough so right now I'm not a consumer
  6. Legit concern but with the size of your beam, it might be negligible. I could be wrong but I really think you'll be ok I'm not sold on Lithium just yet. Not so much from a performance stand point, but the unstable product itself. I will state that I need to do more research on it but right now I will not be a consumer
  7. I've been really focusing on my blood pressure numbers for the past couple of years - which I've never had to do. I've switched to low salts, more potassium and increased fiber. I also make sure I get enough protein to support my workouts - although, probably not enough to support more growth. On my last docs appointment my doc asked me to get more cardio in for heart health. I can't do steady state cardio of anything. I get way to board and know I wouldn't stick to it. I started incorporating kettlebell deck squats in my workouts just as a fun exercise to do. Once my workout block was over I switch to plyometric exercises. What a difference! It's not total cardio because it taps into the anaerobic energy system but after 15 minutes of plyo training I'm left with nothing in the tank. Every muscle in my body is sore - in a good way - and I feel that high you get from running a 5 or 10K race. I've been doing it for a month and have been really feeling the benefits from it. Anyone with experience with Plyometric Training?
  8. Now it makes sense why you made that comment ... hahahaha
  9. Wow! That's a lot of work right there. Thanks so much for posting this. I upgrade hooks all the time, very helpful.

  14. Not sure @Jig Man, but if I had to guess you probably got them in a 100 count .
  15. I’m definitely a drift fisher. I’ll set out a drift sock to slow down in an area if I feel like I’m going by the too fast on windier days.
  16. Why not ask what they’re used to paying? I have 1/4 ac and pay $60
  17. Both my parents are left handed writers and write upside down
  18. Nice one! When I initially saw the pic I thought winter flounder, but then I saw the eye orientation . Halibut is really tasty fish
  19. That must have been awful! The wind must have been howling to lose that much gear. Oh man, so sorry about that

  22. Are you getting your mojo back @N Florida Mike ?
  23. @Jig Man, so glad you came out on the positive side of that experience. An experience like that would keep most off the water. @king fisher, losing a rod overboard is never desirable as well as breaking them. Breaking them while fishing is totally acceptable to me. Breaking them due to stupidity really doesn't work with me at all ...
  24. About the only expensive thing I lost was a rod an reel combo a couple of years ago. My son caught a nice fish while fishing saltwater and he ad a tough time unhooking. I fish mainly jigs so we usually grab a hooked fish by the head of the jig and hinge it 180* so that the weight of the fish will release itself. We try not to handle the fish at all. His wouldn't release and I handled the fish way more than normal. Once it was released I tried to rinse my hands and dry with a towel but a fish hit my line hard and the rig slipped right out of my hands and the fish swam off with the combo. It's probably down in the southern states so if anyone catches a fish with a Daiwa rod and reel keep it as a gift from me LOL
  25. HAHA .... I was wondering where this was going
