  1. It's been a long time we've had drought conditions here in New England but we're finally getting some well deserved rain for the next couple of days. Still pretty mild for New England for this time of year, but rain baby rain!
  2. Natural gas Don’t be peeing in my cheerios! Think positive Moriarty. Dad is 85 with serious dementia, I really doubt he’ll want to deal with anything wood source
  3. Giving it a whirl this weekend To confirm:
  4. Nah...it's getting personal ... I actually did and most are saying that if they didn't install it they won't service it Nothing is really off the table and I would absolutely love it this was the case Love the suggestions you're providing....makes me keep checking...thank you Might be time to surprise mom and dad with a new insert
  5. Beauty for sure Mike!
  6. I see guys leaving the rods in rod holders in a saltwater environment all spring, summer and fall in usually high humid saltwater air. They seem to have no issues. Here I am bringing equipment back to the house after a day out fishing and rinsing my gear with domestic water, wiping down with a towel and air drying with a portable leaf blower. Hmmm, maybe I’m over complicating this? I guess it’s just a piece of mind for when I go back out fishing that all my gear is A-O-K
  7. Well cleaning didn’t work, honestly I was expecting it to be a lot dirtier than it was. Definitely have power to the valve as I had it going a couple of times but getting it lit is so intermittent and now getting fewer and far between. The valve is $350 and I believe I should replace it but it seems like an expensive trial and error repair if it’s not the solution.
  8. Well, glad my book got back
  9. Oh weird...I really haven't had the problem TBH. I'll let you know after the next game I watch.
  10. I would think that on a stop go retrieve the way that the thread would pulsate in the water would be bomb.com!
  11. To be fair, I didn't watch the whole game. I do watch Prime frequently tho and have no issues
  12. I usually get about 75 unpainted jig heads to tie bucktail on and powder paint. Been doing it for a few years. This year will be the first time skipping that.
  13. I switch from cable (FIOS) to a ROKU stick with T-Mobile Internet tower a few months and had no issues with Prime.
  14. Congrats @Darth-Baiter, glad to hear that you took the docs advice. I for one will not give any here, I was doing great for like 4 or 5 years but the past year has been terrible from a personal and professional stand point. My workout schedule and nutrition discipline just went to total s..t. Started to dial both back in the past couple of months and hopefully will have the same positive outcome you're currently having in the near future. Stay the course my friend, I'm hoping to get on that train with you soon!
  15. I'm really hoping that happens for you @JHoss! 🤞
  16. These type of fights really don't do a lot for me unfortunately. I actually have an over due library book I need to get back that night...
  17. To be fair, it is being an opportunist, but it's also a way to spend time with my son who has picked up the sport more seriously the last couple of years.
  18. @TnRiver46, I did enjoy that era of football over today's version. Actually, baseball as well.
  19. Are you suggesting that the game has changed a bit?
  20. Nah...truth be told I fish way more saltwater than I do freshwater. My free time is limited so whatever enjoyment I get, it's out fishing for something....anything for that matter...Sorry, not trying to be argumentative, just telling it like it is.
  21. Two words and it's the solution to this topic for me anyway
  22. Really? I actually think it's fascinating watching a generation player like them play. I mean, for me, Joe Montana was that player for me growing up. I was glued to the television every chance I got to see him play...even back in his college career he was that player for me.
