Winter 2021/22
Wow @A-Jay! Yesterday for us was 67*. Our 10 day forecast average is 50*. It's supposed to be 58* this Saturday, I actually may go toss a JB. I definitely won't be able to get out earlier than that, unfortunately.

The Official Bass Resources Forum Facial Hair Poll ~
I got a few stick-ups and a definite weed patch (could by hydrilla, could be milfoil ) on the front of the channel towards shore. At at the back end of the channel is bare hard bottom. The "boomerang" looking things on your screen aren't actually fish, they're actually undercuts in the terrain (scars). You see, when I got into construction, hard hats weren't actually in vogue back then.

The Official Bass Resources Forum Facial Hair Poll ~
Shave twice a week. I’m sporting the 70’s look with a part down the middle…a wide part down the middle….almost like you’re looking at a channel with your electronics.

Post a photo a day!
Cold day yesterday but a great day for a bean pot slow baking in the oven. Here’s the last of it:

Breakfast pizza
With 2 tortilla shells employed, perhaps it should be a breakfast quesadilla?

Speedy service ??
I've been really happy with TackleDirect.

Glad I'm in the same boat with you and 3 others BR guys, we won't be bored and we'll eat well... Looks great, man. Once my BP issues hold steady, I'll be trying this one!

Working to Stay Lean ~
Glad you had a good work out. Mine got done, but it wasn't pretty. End of the week workout and everything felt heavy.

If you could fish with five BR members & five pros, who would they be?
I will like to recognize 1 BR member, @TnRiver46, that I would love to renovate lake homes with. I'm sure this Tennessean wouldn't mind the help.

How many different types of rods are required to be a complete fisherman? For the Elite Bassman only.
Just 1. You can only fish 1 at a time.

It was bound to happen... My county is the 2nd red.

Walking bait rod
5'6 baitcaster for me. I like a soft tip for this technique as well. The short rod is how I learned it and I can't take the dog for a walk with longer rods for whatever reason.

A-Jay's 4th Annual Ice Out / Open Water Countdown Thread ~
It was 15* this morning when I left at 6:30. Mid-60*'s and rain by Sunday. Matter of fact, rain Monday & Tuesday. May have to fish an ice-out on Wednesday. Overnight lows for the next 10 days will be upper 20*'s and 30*'s. Definitely will take that.

Eastern Ma & New England Area Fishing Reports
Looks like we'll have 1 more day of cold weather and then we start an accent to a warmer trend. 60*'s on Sunday with rain. That will certainly open things up. Over night lows look real promising for an early spring...I hope I have some rebuilding to do on my mooring, hoping to get up to Maine to order the materials and have it done by Memorial/Launch Day.

You trying to finish the rest of the table?- Favorite shrimp recipes...
Shrimp stir fry will probably be your "low carb diet friendly" best bet. A quick google search will come up with a myriad of different recipes that are not Chinese style. For this Italian American, I'm shrimp scampi all the way. Made at home so I can control the amount of butter and olive oil. Another fav is shrimp and risotto with steamed veg.- Much ado about nothing
Not at all Then again, not much does make sense to me anymore.- Much ado about nothing
Mine came in about a week ago and I haven't even looked at it yet. Kind of odd though, I couldn't tell you the last time I purchased from BPS/Cabelas. I know it was a few years before the merger. However long that was?- Hook Eye Gaps
Hey man, not sure what you're trying to do, although I think I have a mental picture of it. See if one of these works for you: https://www.***.com/fishing_knots- Joining the 'real' boat crowd
You're gaining on it buddy....looks great!- Working to Stay Lean ~
Truth be told, I found myself doing it last night. ? - Favorite shrimp recipes...
