R u a Tackleaholic?
I think I fall in the minimalist category. I find what works and buy enough to get me thru the season.

Canadian with withdrawals
You got it right....we piled about 240 trees on the pond and set fire to them.

Canadian with withdrawals
I worked as a gas station attendant for 2 nights - after school to 10:00 pm - and work a 5 hour day on Saturday at my dad's shop he managed. Between my Camaro with a 350, hockey sticks and skate sharpening, I wasn't exactly saving a lot. ?

I wouldn't expect you'd be lighting up trees on your waters nor would I expect you to skate on them either...Just being subjective of course. ? The 240 was a 1 time thing. Everyday a bunch of us ran the neighborhoods and collected trees for 2 weeks. It wasn't worth the money spent on gas collecting them. Back in those days we ran 8 cylinder gas guzzlers. ?

Hahaha...I was thinking along the same line: "You gonna fish or joke around all day!" ? Beautiful fish Dwight!

Canadian with withdrawals
Growing up in New England as a kid I couldn't wait for the lakes and ponds to freeze over. Pond hockey was so much fun back then. On weekends we'd have a bonfire along with a hockey game. One year after Christmas, we went around from neighborhood to neighbor and collected Christmas trees for 2 weeks and lit up 240 trees on the pond one night. ? I miss those days.

Chicago Deep Dish Pizza
Must that time of year, but my family requested deep dish pizza. Usually I make sausage pepper onion and a all veg for my daughter. I'm looking for something different for the sausage one. What are some of your favorite deep dish fillings?

Winter 2021/22
I only wish for this because my neighbors don't pick up leaves. I spent 3 Saturday's in a row cleaning the yard only to have my neighbors leaves blow in during Monday night's storm. At least the snow hides it until spring. ? We're expecting a couple of inches tonight with lows in the upper 20's. Next 10 days...50's to low 60's.

The Road To The Super Bowl 2022
I hear ya, with the elements, the game was pretty much muted down with all the run plays. Old time football for sure. Although, I think I would rather see that than a blow out.

3-Way Rig | Sinker Weight Type
I'm looking to do some 3-way rig fishing this coming season and will be on hard/rocky bottom. Would you use a bank or cannonball sinker?

The Road To The Super Bowl 2022
I was reading this morning that the Pats had the least amount of pass attempts in team history surpassing Steve Grogan's 2 of 5 in the 1982 "Snowplow" game against the Dolphins. BTW: Mac Jones threw for 19 yards to 13 for Grogan, if you're keeping score...?

A Job You Love vs. A Job That Pays Well
Yes, and you know that I always complimented you for doing so. Most would go the disability route and honestly I probably can now that the vision in my left eye is so impaired, but seriously, I don't want to monitor every activity I do and risk losing the disability check. I'm sure your body feels a lot healthier these days, I know mine does. That doesn't mean I miss being in the field. Quite the contrary. In 5 years my goal is to go into a second career and leave construction behind. Hopefully retire at 65. We'll see how that goes. Good luck to you mi amigo, happy holiday's.

The Road To The Super Bowl 2022
The Bills are still the team to beat. MJ10 (my ###) will really gain some experience if he can pull out a win here.

Working to Stay Lean ~
It’s funny huh? They say to grow (work) the legs and the body will grow…when you’re young I don’t get it….?

A Job You Love vs. A Job That Pays Well
Can’t say as I blame you. I’ve split time between office and field and prefer field, I’m glad my body didn’t take that wear and tear. I mean no disrespect, slo, I’m not trying to convey that. I see so many guys that are so broken down and look waaaay older than they should be that I don’t want my son going that route. I’m 55 with bad knees and degenerative discs, not too mention an impaired eye. He sees me struggling sometimes with every day activities because of those issues. I’m in no way like these guys I speak of. They really have no life after they retire. Their bodies are flat out worn out. He likes scuba diving and often talks about doing search and rescue. We’ll see where that takes him. Glad to hear your boy is doing well.
