  2. The Best of times! Mike
  3. For me it’s about expectations. If just junk fishing anything over 3 qualifies. If punching mats it’s probably a 5+ If bed fishing I’d say a 7+ Anything 8 and up down here are special regardless of where and how. Mike
  4. One of the worst sources of misleading, opinionated information sometimes using convoluted reasoning is You Tube. Yeah, I said it!! Don’t take everything you see or hear on there as factual information that disproves actual experience and trial and error Mike

Exactly! The size of your plastic dictates the size of the hook. It seems that a lot of guys use too small of a hook for what they’re throwing. For a 5” senko I use a 4/0 which is the smallest hook I own. Mike
  6. While working a popping frog a small gator started following it. About half way back I noticed a 12-14 footer (you can tell from the nose to the eyes) dart from the bank. When it caught up to the little one, he kept coming but the smaller one turned around, dove and got out of the way. Mike
  7. Sunline Shooter or Sniper depending on what I’m doing. Mike

  11. I use 12# Sunline Sniper FC for them and a lot more. In my opinion, It’s not as stretchy and more manageable than Invisx. Mike
  12. Cast right, reel right. Switching hands is a non factor as the switch is already done before the line hits the water. I don’t use spinning gear. Mike
  13. Any submerged grass in fairly shallow water is perfect for swimming a worm or paddle tail over and through. I personally like a speed worm, Cut R, Fat Max ribbon tail or Skinny Dipper, but Any swim worm of your choice will work. You can drop it in the holes as you come across. Other than bed fishing and punching that is my next favorite presentation. Mike
