  1. Don’t feel alone, I know how you feel! Mike
  2. The sweet spot for all my Shimano’s are set with 2 on so I knew going in I didn’t want to have more brake than that. I played with the dial and found that the 3rd setting gave me the best distance for the majority of what I throw. For very windy conditions, 5 was just about right, but that doesn’t happen often. But keep in mind, the type of cast you use will affect your distance also. If I need a bomb cast I turn up the cast control knob before I play with the brakes. That’s what it’s for. Also, particular reel setting isn’t a substitute for an educated thumb. Mike
  3. That’s what I’d do If there’s a 6, there’s gotta be an 7!! Mike
  4. Wow! That ain’t too shabby for anybody! Great Job Mike

    Wow!! Beautiful fish! Congratulations Mike
  10. If I need a lot wiggle I use Skinny Dippers which I have for years. If more thump and displacement is needed I always use a Big EZ. Over the years I’ve tried almost all of them but keep coming back to those two. Mike
  11. For those I use either a 4/0 or 5/0 snelled Trokar ewg. I rig all plastics the same, where the nose just covers the eyelet Mike
  12. When swimming the boot tail is always down. Mike

  17. Stay Safe Everyone Mike
  18. Atta Boy!! Mikr
  19. I use the KVD stuff religiously for 20# Shooter. All other combos have Sniper from 12# to 16# and only need to use it occasionally. Mike
  20. InvisX is good line, but too stretchy for me for anything on the bottom and any single hook moving bait. I use Sniper and Shooter. Both are a little more than InvisX but well worth it. Tatsu is the next level in both quality and price. Mike
  21. Congratulations to you and Lois! Mrs Mike and I will be celebrating our 50th next month. I wanted to have a party for her but now is just not the time. I like your idea! Enjoy Your special day. Mike
  22. Well Said.. Chapter 1 Verse 1 of the Bass fishing Bible! Mike
  23. Loomis MBR 843 GlX Shimano Chronarch 100sf 14# Sniper @Bankc The gearing on the reel doesn’t change just because I’m skipping. The combo I use is my weightless, and light lure presentation setup for anything on top and most depths. I just change the cast control knob when skipping, that’s all that’s needed. I don’t use a spinning setup or have a dedicated bait caster as it’s not necessary. Mike
  24. IF you do and get away with it, don’t repackage with a trademarked name and sell as anything but what they really are!! Mike
