Avid 8' medium light moderate not your typical wacky rod but I think its great for those, plus makes for a very good small cranker.

No there is not a big if any difference my favorite rod for wacky is a 2pc Avid I'll add line type will have a greater effect than 1 or 2 pc

Ive use reg pp for 10 years and PPs8S a couple of years now. Less noise and a bit more smoothness is about the only difference. Strength seems the same color retention the same. If not bothered by the noise save the money or get PPS8S on sale and try it.

Ah you caught that as well. I looked at the rep cumaras and the same, full price then discount. Ive seen them do this on Quantum Smoke rods too. They were always $129 then when they had 20% off sale bumped the price up to $159 then get discount, after sale back to $129 So Ill add the Smoke rod 3.4oz, 7' M/F 1/4-3/4 lure rating to list of extremely light well balanced very sensitive $150 range rods

X2 I go to the site multiple times weekly I use IE8 most of the time. Crome I just tried went to main page clicked on bc reels picked a reel at random and then added to cart went to checkout all within a minute.

Yes this is what i used for the skirt attachment of my Hydrika It has a few accessories blow torch, hot air, solder iron, hot knife.

I deleted my own post oops but the one Im thinking is the one under the handle that is 8x12x3.5 that need to be os7 or can that be just say abec5SS? I looked and its part#83 I believe

I use two very soft baits Fat Ika/Palm Tree and Damiki Hydras. The body of the ikas wear quick while the skirts acually last, just the opposite for the hydras, body lasts but the tentacles tear get ripped easily. So I put the ika skirt on the hydras body when they get too bad. I now have a Hydrika

You dont want to do that you you wont get any more money for that reel than like a $5 spincaster. In fact they have $5 reel on hand to buy then turn in to get certificate. Theamount off then depends on the price of the new reel purchased. Same deal with rods see structure below in pic I took of an ad mailed to me prior.

Yeah its going to depend on the specific blank. I have a LTB ML XF rated 1/8-1/2 and a Quantum Smoke M F rated 1/4-3/4 the Smoke rod casts small cranks better. Like 1/8 mini fat raps or bitsy minnows all my bitsy minnows actually weigh under 1/8 closer to 1/12.

Darren mentioned getting the hook perpendicular, if you use o-rings use 2 of them crossed to get the hook that way

I enjoy the topwater hollow frog bite the most. When slowly reeling in and then BAM the fish strikes out of the water thats fun.

Gander will do the same as well got some pps8s that was online sale but not at store told sales guy and he matched it.. Cabelas online had the gold supreme xt on clearance for $75 I printed out the page took it to local Gander and they matched it.
