  1. Mostly depend of what you want to expend. Economical with quality and a great warranty is the Okuma 7.6 MH, perfect for the size lure you are looking for. I have it pair it with a Cardiff 201, the combo comes to around $ 200.00. If you are planning for to invest more, the Gary Dobyns 795 ML is upthere. I have it with a TD-Z BBS. I tried the Powell 7.11 MH, I own the H and the Setyr 7.10 H, both great rods. Good luck.
  2. For the small-MediumI have been using PLine CXX 15-20 lbs, now I changed everything to Evolution....best I have done in a while.......
  3. It has been one of the best relations I ever had w/o knowing the individual personally. He served my reels to perfection, he showed me how to service them and he supplied me with what I need.....and he also made rods compare to items from Wonderland. I'm very appreciated of his contribution to this forum but much more of his friendship. My .02
  4. E21, not a comparison to anything else like that......lighter than the Steez.
  5. I can't wait for that either, as well as a lefty orange Pixy :
  6. Well, they are here to stay....hopefully cheaper in the near future.
  7. I'm also very happy with the KVD conditioner and I don't find it expensive at all, it last me the whole season.
  8. Agree with you. I have a similar experience with my first, only and last Crucial.
  9. I don't know much of Musky fishing but I have been using the Cardiff 201 and 301 for swimbaits for a while now and I have no one reason to change, they are light, smooth and tough. I take them over the Calcuttas any time.
  10. Answer close to.... YES. In fact it makes it simpler, just don't step on them
  11. That is a difficult question. I have a couple of Avids and a couple of customs SCII & III blank rods and a Legend Elite here and there. Top choice, the LTX transmit the vibration of a quite dream and weight about the same. The 6.9 parabolic M weights 0.4 oz less than my Steez 6.7 MH.
  12. Try the Okuma Guide Series Big Bait 7.6 MH, it is one of the best for that lure size.
  13. They have been out for a very long time.........
  14. I was never able to find a reason I should change hands when the lure is on the air......, just me.
  15. Then you need to look into the GLX BCR series.
  16. For ceramic 5-7 bearings I like it with the TG Rocket Yellow or the Daiwa oil Red/Clear, they perform very similar, for everything else the ReelMech/Shimano oil. Its just last longer. I think the ABU Silicote Oil is one of the worse things that you can put on your spool bearings....next to sand
  17. The lightest rod in the market attached to that anchor!!!!!.....I don't see the point.
  18. That reel looks really hot. Great job Jimzee
  19. It doesn't, use whatever mono you are going to trash.
  20. Congratulations Robert. Great looking I also have one of my Pixarros on the Steez, make a dream combo.
