  1. If you're fishing for them or keeping them you need the Wyco trout permit.
  2. Caught a bunch of fish today, no big ones but lots of them. Jerkbait, line thru swimbait, bladed jig, rock crawler, and a jig. Had probably 10 bites on a frog and missed every one of them ?‍♂️
  3. Grand will do that sometimes. It's a lot of fun when it's good though.
  4. Looks very much like the old storm thin fin. Cast terrible but they do catch fish.
  5. It's a neat bait with a wild action, doesn't dive nearly as deep as it looks like it would. It hunts wildly from side to side maybe 8-10 inches. I'm not a big crankbait guy but it's definitely something different to show the fish.
  6. Had a couple hours before training this morning, was hoping to catch a few but the only ones I could get to play were really small. The baits I found kind of made up for it.
  7. Typical glass rods are pretty slow, not something I'd want in a rod I'm trying to walk the dog with. I wouldn't want to fish a WTD topwater with any of my cranking rods.
  8. I actually saw a picture of a Hot-n-Tot next to a Wiggle Wart box in the last Bassmaster in their "What's it Worth?" section. Really surprised me to see them run that obvious of a mistake.
  9. I've met both in person. Zona is a wound up goofball just like he is on TV. Kevin is a little dry and almost awkward seeming, I think that's what makes them work so well together, kind of an opposites attract kind of thing.

I make horsehead style underspins and Herring Head underspins.
  11. Do you have a picture of it? A lot of WW had a metallic paint job that included the bill that would make it appear metal. I've never seen a WW with a metal lip though.
  12. Spro just launched their own Ned rig bait made of "Dura Tough", material. Also not supposed to be mixed with regular plastics, really stretchy like Z-man stuff. Cool looking little baits though. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/SPRO_Sakura_Worm_5pk/descpage-SSWSR.html This is another one of my favorite Ned rig baits. When they're really keying on small craws, these are killers. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/10000_Fish_Sukoshi_Bug_6pk/descpage-10FSB.html I wanted to like the Z-man craws, but those claws get stuck on the hook so much, it's really a pain to deal with.
  13. It isn't all about who we let be mentioned, some of them are blocked by request of the companies.
  14. St. Croix LTB 6' 10" M/F Daiwa Tatula 3000DCXH 8lb Tatsu
  15. There's already at least 1 thread about the spring sale at BPS going. If you don't want to shop there, don't, plain and simple. We don't run post just talking bad about companies though.
  16. Gold is a good cloudy day color as well.
  17. They make lots of stuff for those bins that they don't offer anywhere else.
  18. I would contact them and ask? St Croix is usually very good at responding to questions.
  19. I use a 7' M/MF Falcon Bucoo SR for my smaller jerbaits.
  20. Really like the Sunna, Hankie Pankie is my favorite but gold would be a hard color to not get if I was fishing Florida.
  21. It's from the YUM bin at Wal-Mart. I have a few bags of them but they're just labeled "creature".
  22. Sounds like an inaccurate test. I had it but didn't loose my taste or smell, just a fever off an on, headache, and body aches for a couple days.
  23. That's a good sized one. Get a lot of them 12" up to 18" from the power plant lake. They'll be a couple pounds once they get that size.
  24. Carp also have very soft mouths and you'll risk pulling hooks if you don't keep your drag loosened. Not super loose, just can't put too much heat on them.
  25. I like EVA foam. For some reason cork dries my hands out so it's not comfortable to fish with a lot. Winn Grips are okay but they get dirty fast and aren't easy to hold onto if they get wet.
