Watermelon and Sprayed Grass. Both are really popular plastic colors and neither has been very successful for me. No yellow perch here but it's a killer color for me.

I've been trying for a few years to crack this code and feel like I'm starting to sort of do it. I've really been surprised how many fish will eat it straight off the bottom. I've been using some off Aliexpress, they're like $.70 a bait so they don't hurt so bad when I lose them one after the other.

My 2 best smallmouth spinnerbaits are both War Eagles. First is a 1/2 white with dual gold willowleafs and a chartreuse split tail trailer. Second is a 1/2 oz white with dual copper willowleafs and a chartreuse split tail trailer. I've caught more smallmouth in my home state with those 2 spinnerbait than any other by a mile.

I buy what I want as long as it's either my fun money from making baits/guiding/working OT or as long as it's within budget, and my wife does the same. We're both adults who deserve our own hobbies and interest and we don't question each other's purchases to support them. Been working well for over a decade now.

This was my best year ever with 3 fish over 7lbs, does that help?

Having 2 young boys myself, I understand that farts are a way of life and a constant topic of conversation, especially when it's completely inappropriate to be doing so.

I saw it. Kind of a "Hey ya'll, watch this!" kind of thing imo.

Have to learn to simplify and find the multipurpose tools in the box. Limiting specialty items helps a lot, especially rods and reels. It really stinks to bring a technique specific combo in the yak and never make a cast with it. Cutting back on similar items helps a lot too. Can't have the same bait in green pumpkin/blue flake, green pumpkin/purple flake, green pumpkin/candy, and green pumpkin magic unless you're going to put 2 or 3 of each in the same bag.

I do this, just with drum. They respond much better to baits and are easier to see.

I've shot a lot of silver and bighead carp out of the river here. Not even a drop in the bucket, but it sure is fun, especially shooting them out of the air.

I video my trips, I can go back and watch to see what I caught them on if I want and it's very useful at times.

People who have no concept of personal space on the water. 2 weeks ago I had a boat pull in a long cast in front of me on the bank I was fishing down in my kayak. Basically positioned in a way to try and block me from getting down the bank. I could hear the disgust when I glided around the back of his motor and on down the bank and "Blew up his brushpile". Don't want it done to you, don't do it to other people. People throwing trash on the ground but that's anywhere, not just while I'm fishing.

I think @A-Jay had a questionable spool of Tatsu awhile back? It's not hard from someone to wind a bunch of cheap line onto their empty Tatsu spool and say it's Tatsu and sell it online. Not something I'd be worried about coming from a trusted vendor.

They're very sharp. Buy the ones with the BP designation on them (black platinum), and you won't have issues with rusting. People are always shocked when I tell them the hooks on my baits that they buy from me are Eagle Claw because they're so sharp.

I picked up some very similar Mister Twister Poc it Phenom worms this year and fished them on a EWG Ned head and caught a ton of fish on them. Unfortunately, I think they're discontinued, need to pick up some more while I can still find them.

I like big swimmers, especially 6-8 inch glides and wakes. Never had much luck on big soft baits. I like throwing Keitech and other boot tail type swimbaits also.
