  1. Great looking bows and browns!
  2. Asian carp are a way bigger threat than snakehead. The hype for them is so overdone. They've been in Maryland for how long now? Over 2 decades or something like that and they haven't eaten every living creature in any body of water yet?
  3. I use the single on my reels with tatsu, unless I tie a palomar.
  4. I know fishingskirts.com has that exact color because I have some of it.
  5. I've had more success with them as a crank than a popper, but they do work.
  6. Welcome!
  7. Bank fishing trips for me are usually short trips, less than an hour. If I have more time than that I'm usually going to be in the boat or kayak.
  8. Crawfish boil anyone?
  9. Have fun and be safe down there! Jealous as always!
  10. Probably shad everywhere right now, but if they aren't those big gizzard shad, there won't be any big fish by them at LOZ. You have to find those 5-6 inch or bigger gizzard shad down there to find the big bass in the fall.
  11. I don't like doing it, but if it works for you like it sounds like it did, roll with it. Just because it's not going by the book doesn't mean it can't work for you. I do stuff that isn't "suppose" to work, but it works for me, so that's what I do.
  12. I've fished from sit inside and SOT kayaks. The SOT is head and shoulders above the sit inside style for fishing IMO. They should be though since they're generally more designed for fishing than the sit inside models are. I'd really like to try one of they hybrids, like a NuCanoe and see how I like those.
  13. Tackle Supply Depot has quite a few items on sale, lots of Strike King hard and soft baits. I don't need anything, but it was too good for me to pass up.
  14. Yes, baby brush hog or full sized, either one. They look similar to a lizard to me, I have a hard time believing a bass can tell the difference.

I never use a senko with a weight. I do a lot of other stick worms with a weight though. Pitching a lightly weighted stick worm can be a great way to get bit when the bite is tough.
  16. I rarely fish them because they seem so similar to a brush hog style bait that I'd rather fish with. There's no denying their effectiveness, I caught my PB on an 8" watermelon lizard.
  17. I haven't yet but I will be getting some for cold water cranking at the power plant this winter. They just came out last month so haven't had a chance to pick any up to test yet.
  18. Maybe it needed tuned? I've never really noticed them being more prone to running to the side than squarebills are, but maybe it's more noticeable when they do it.
  19. It really depends on a lot of variables but I use 1/4oz a majority of the time. The lighter the weight, the slower the fall, but it just isn't an option or practical sometimes.
  20. Those transition areas were key for me last time I was at the local smallmouth reservoir. Anywhere it went from clay/sand/mud to rock, that's where the bigger fish were sitting.
  21. He passed for over 300 yards still, but the injuries are killing them. 3 starting D linemen hurt, #1 and #2 WR hurt and out the whole game, starting LB hurt, #1 and #2 RBs hobbled, plus Mahomes ankle not being 100% before the game and then getting reinjured. Their defense is maybe worse than last year, which is hard to do when they were 31st in the league last year. Another year of playoff disappointment coming right up! The Texans are probably going to put a hurting on them Sunday too.
  22. Nothing makes them much happier than being in the boat.
