Peacock Bass Fishing
Jerkbaits were far and away the best thing for them when I went last year. Peacocks were at the top of my bucket list and thanks to suggestions from a couple of members from the area, I got to cross them off the list. They weren't giants, but a fish is a fish when you've never caught one before and are dying to get one. All of them were from a public park with canals that ran through it. Had some nice bass in it as well.

Minn Kota Maxxum
I've seen this happen when the motor wasn't installed far enough forward and the shaft was hitting the bow when it was just about at full deploy. Make sure it's not hitting anything and nothing is stuck inside the bracket that might be holding it up.

Kayak Anglers: Let's See Your Crates!!!!
I put all my stuff in my rod pod right between my feet inside my yak. I have 75 pounds of dog sitting where my crate would go usually. I have a crate, just never get to use it.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
@Advantage it still has to be registered. I think kayaks, canoes, and rafts are the only exceptions and they still have to have stickers at some of our lakes (JOCO, Wabaunsee, Wyco).

Are pics of fish in the dirt disturbing to you????
It doesn't do a fish picture any justice when it looks like you're breading it with dirt, mud, and leaves. I'd rather not see those pictures, but it's better than the big fish in the driveway/kitchen/garage pictures. I don't lose any sleep over it, it's just like taking a picture of a really nice car that needs washed.

I use either a 200B Curado or 200E5 Curado.- Lucky Craft Stock Hooks
I change mine out. I believe it's VMC that makes their hooks. I've fished them stock before and they work pretty well, just a confidence thing.- Needing a new tackle bag
The Cabela's bags are really nice with lots of well thought out storage. I had a super mag and it held enough stuff that it was tough to carry when full (had a boat with no storage).- New from Wisconsin

It's a possum lures or opossum lure bait not sure of the exact name though.- Turbo crawz
They're great on a jig or bladed jig. Good on a swinging football head too.- Let's See Your Taclke Box!
