What Are These Worth ?
I've seen Rayburn Red XRK50's going upwards of $35 apiece online and selling fast at that price.

Xcalibur Lipless: Is Something Going On With Xcalibur?
I believe you're right. The main point is that everything I've heard is they aren't going away, just getting a new package with a different company name on it. Even if they're gone, I'm not spending the crazy money other guys are on them. I've caught fish on all the traps I've ever fished except the Rattlin Rap, I'll be alright with whatever else I have to use instead.

Ray Scott Signed Hat
That is neat. I have one signed by Harold Ensley, Jay Yelas, Denny Brauer and one signed by KVD All different hats, not the same one.

Psa Jj's Magic Desolves Z Man's Elaztech
They do make a dye specifically for Elaztec baits though, no idea if it works or not.

My first tournament I never had anything that I was sure was a bite and it never got above 40 degrees.

8 Pound 5 Ounce New Personal Best
Congrats man! It does go fast so enjoy it. Seems like we just brought our little guy home and now he's tearing around the house and babbling all kinds of nonsense at us. Good thing is I think he'll be ready to actually hit the water by next year!

Painting Chatterbait Blades Or Not?
If you do paint them make sure you don't get whatever you're painting them with on too thick or you'll ruin the action.

Painting Chatterbait Blades Or Not?
I use a powder paint air brush and the same powder paint as I use on jigheads.

Xcalibur Lipless: Is Something Going On With Xcalibur?
They were bought out by Pradco and currently being rebranded. All the Chicken Littles out there are running around yelling the sky is falling and buying everyone they can get their hands on because they think the new ones will be junk. The current ones are very popular, Pradco is a very successful company for a reason, I doubt they change anything except the package when they're reintroduced.

Anyone Have Success With The 6" Savage Gear Line Thru Swimbait (Trout)?
They came out too late in the year last year for me to get to really test them. I can tell you that they swim extremely well. I have both floating and slow sink models. The ability to rig them with the hook on top or bottom is a huge plus for me as I'll be fishing them both in open water/rocky situations as well as over weeds and around docks. The floating model looks terrific and I truly expect some explosive strikes to come on this bait. The slow sink model also looks great and with the one I have if I rig it with the hook on the back it lands on it's belly and stays upright. I've seen pictures of guys from the south catching fish on them, and I have no doubt that I'll be catching fish on them soon as well.

Stocked Trout On The Ned Rig - It Works!
Ned Kedhe and his cohorts do what they call "Bass fishing for trout", around here this time of year. Most of their escapades on on Lake Shawnee in Topeka, KS. I also fish the same lake because they stock monster trout (at least 600 over 4 pounds each year and the previous 5 state records before the current one ranged from 10-15.5 pounds all came from that lake). I primarily use more standard trout lures like a Little Cleo or micro jig under a bobber. However, I had some new hooks on my homemade jigheads I wanted to try along with the Zman TRD that I had yet to fish. I caught 15-20 trout on it and could have caught more I'm sure if it wasn't for the fact that I was doing better with a Little Cleo on the bigger fish.

Costa Sun Glasses
Shop around and you can find them much more reasonable than what you're probably seeing them for. I bought my 580G Fisch last year for well under MSRP, brand new from an online golf shop.

For the last few weeks it's been a custom painted 110 KO The RC STX in French Pearl is always a producer for me, as is Pro Blue.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
He went to urgent care. They numbed it, pushed it through, clipped it, then backed it out. Proud son moment, my dad's biggest concern was that they didn't get any of the alcohol on his bait (which he didn't just remove for some reason), because he didn't want them to ruin the finish Most expensive bait my dad has ever bought before that 110 is an Xrap, so it was a big deal for him. He's good, said he couldn't even tell where it was at this morning. His birthday was last week. I took him fishing but I might have to get him some fish grippers for a late present. He has a net but I understand not wanting to untangle 3 trebles out of net. That was the first text I opened when I woke up in the evening, heck of a wake up call! It's hard to tell in the picture but it's actually right along the edge and angling towards the side of his finger. Glad he did the smart thing and went to the doctor instead of trying to rip it out.

What's The Best Baitcasting Reel For Under $100 As Of 2015?
If you can find the H2O Mettle on sale it is a great reel for the money. I just bought 2 for $40 last week.
