My new little fishing buddy came into this world at 6:36 AM on April 4th. This is my wife and I's first child, and everyone is doing fantastically well. We got home just after lunch today--- happy, healthy, and completely adorable. Baby Girl's got some growing to do before I buy her first rod and reel, but that's fine. I'm enjoying the fun-sized version too much anyway.

 

I'm sure the day will come all too quickly when my new daughter and I are stopping by our favorite cafe for early morning hot chocolate on our way to the lake.

    Congrats! I love fishing with my little sister. She has an attention span of about two minutes, but when I can get her throwing nightcrawlers on bluegill beds, she'll empty a box of nightcrawlers on them (and an occasional bass) in about 45 minutes.

    Congrats man! It does go fast so enjoy it. Seems like we just brought our little guy home and now he's tearing around the house and babbling all kinds of nonsense at us. Good thing is I think he'll be ready to actually hit the water by next year!
