selling old lures ?
Like others have said, the internet can be a good place. Kinda off topic: A while ago some guy pulled up by my grandparents' lake house and asked my grandpa if he had any old lures. My grandpa had a few the guy was interested in. The guy was just driving down the road on the lake and asking all the older people he saw.

Can't get Sunnies/Bluegill on the hook!
You must be using some VERY large hooks. I have no problem hooking bluegill. ;D Joking aside, they're probably just tiny fish.

IPad is
It's too large for me. I like the size of the samsung one if i were to get a tablet. But i'd rather have a really nice phone.

am i the only one catching small bass?
The only problem would probably be convincing your parents to let you go in a boat by yourself.

Yeah it does. How much of the lake can you fish from shore vs the boat? Big difference. Get a kayak or something small.

Marker Buoys for Shallwater bass fishing
Not 2-3 feet, but i will use it in water as shallow as 4 feet. If i see a branch or log in the water that is off the shore a bit and hard to place, i'll toss in a marker buoy and come back to it in 5 minutes without getting too close. Or i'll use them to mark the shallow side of a drop off. I broke my depth finder and don't have the money for a new one...but i only fish one lake out of my boat so the marker buoys are mandatory in that situation.

I must be getting old.
I hadn't realized how ugly that kesha chick was until i saw her performance. For how crappy her music is and all the stuff she "sings" about, i figured she'd be good looking in a slutty way. Nope, she is FUGLY!!!! Is she missing a tooth or something? She smiled and i cringed. ;D

Spro Vs. BPS
I did pretty good with the scum frogs this year. My only gripe is that they sink after a few fish. I bought 2 spro frogs during the spring of 2009. I haven't gotten another since. All it takes is one little pike to get it good, and it tears. The scum frogs have been just as good, but cheaper. And actually, my hookup ratio increased with the scum frogs. I don't think it's because they are softer though. I think it has more to do with the fact that they don't float as well, thus leaving more of the frog below the surface and easier for a fish to get. My biggest bass this year came on a scum frog, and i lost another even bigger on one. I fish with frogs probably 10% of the time. I never thought of a frog as a big fish bait until this year.

having trouble finishing a pitch.
When i pitch, it's usually a 3/8 oz jig and and i have the brakes set to the lowest setting and the tension as low as possible. You probably have the tension and brakes too high. And what he ^ said.

am i the only one catching small bass?
If you have a look through the fish reports on that site i told you about, you'll see that i caught some quality fish this year. The lake is about 3 hours southeast from you, so not too different weather wise. And it's very shallow and weedy. I wasn't consistently catching larger fish until this year. My skills from last year to this year increased A LOT. Last year i'd be jumping up and down if i got one over 18". This year i had a couple days where i got 4 fish over 18", sometimes one of them going 20". My best 5 fish on those days were probably pushing 18-20lbs. That's d**n good for wisconsin! That's a whole day of fishing though, morning to evening. You know how i got better? Lots of time on the water, and I made an effort to fish with other people who knew what they were doing. Don't worry about it now, keep at it. Those larger fish will come. Don't say that the waters you fish are probably crap compared to mine...i know a guy who didn't catch anything over 18" this year.

Caution! Craigslist buyers
Ha ha he legally owns that many, but one of them was stolen. He's also able to give the name of the person he got it from. Cops come to a conclusion that he is running a chop shop. Wow. Must have some nutty neighbors who made some large assumptions.

Question concerning Jigs
Try a few head to head...that's really all you can do to see which you like best beyond taking into consideration other opinions. Make sure you buy some different types of trailers too.

What kind of tennis shoes do you wear?
I'm hopping on the new balance boat. On my 4th pair in a few years, and i still have the first pair. The bottoms on the first two are noticeably worn, and the padding inside is broken in just like any shoe would be. But there's no holes, the sole isn't detaching from the top of the shoe, they still look good, and they're made in the USA.

Keeping records.
That's a good idea. You could give a quick explanation of each fish...or just a summary every few hours, then write down what you need later.

The pattern with in the pattern
Can't identify a pattern based on what info he gave, definitely not a pattern within a pattern.

Nice bait that could really catch on.
They look a lot stiffer. Kinda like the slug made by berkley.

They call it "sagging"
Yeah, i don't understand it. Just a little while ago i was at the mall with some friends. This little old lady who didn't speak english comes up to my hispanic friend and asks him in spanish if he could tell some guy that his pants are falling down because she thought he hadn't realized. She might've been joking, but she was very old.

Who fished on Christmas ? I did ;-)
Ugh...i've been shoveling snow.

They call it "sagging"
But we've finally figured out what's going on:

Christmas decorations are already down!
Ours were taken down before they were even put up.
