Table Rock Guide Needed...
From reading another forum specific to Ozark lakes, others have had good things to say about the following: Bill Babler (Table Rock Guide Service) Don House Rick LaPoint Bill Beck Eric Prey Pete Wenner I've never used any of these guys, but have read great things about them from folks who have. And if they aren't available they will most likely suggest a very good guide as an alternate. Tom

2010-The Trash is Flying and There's Still No Pennant in Chicago
Garcia has been something else. I don't expect him to be this lights-out all year, but with Carpenter, Wainwright and Penney in front of him, he's got no pressure and can just pitch. When it's all said and done this can turn out to be a heck of a starting 4 (or 5 if Lohse can return to '08 form).

Did you guys like the 3 day day draft?
The change I liked best was going from 15 minutes between picks to 10, definitely a plus!

2010-The Trash is Flying and There's Still No Pennant in Chicago
I've always thought of Zambrano as more of a nut-case versus a goon. I can only imagine how the conversation with Sweet Lou went... >

2010-The Trash is Flying and There's Still No Pennant in Chicago
...And the hitting was bad. It took the Mets four innings to score two runs against two non-pitchers (Lopez 1 inning, Mather 3 innings). Oh, and the Cards stranded 20 runners... ridiculous.

What does your name (Handle) mean?
SRV1990... The SRV is for Stevie Ray Vaughan and 1990 is the year he perished in the helicopter crash after the 2nd of two concerts at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Wisconsin. I was fortunate enough to see the first show that weekend, heard the terrible news Monday morning.

Need a Table Rock report
Obviously this is too late for your tournament (sorry), but the best source I've found for info about The Rock is OzarkAnglers.com. Click on the forum link and then go to the Table Rock Lake section. Will be down there myself from May 12 - 16, staying near Indian Point. Tom

Mcnabb
Yes, probably cheaper dollar-wise, but also in draft picks since they would have had to trade up with the Rams to have a shot at Bradford. That would have cost them several high picks.

Family pictures
I can definitely relate Burley... I'm the youngest of eight, so there are tons of old pics (B&W and color) of my oldest siblings. But once I came around my parents must have figured I wasn't worth the effort :'( My wife is a Creative Memories enthusiast, it's a company dedicated to scrapbooking, etc. She began putting together albums for each of the kids, I believe the two older ones have 4-5 each spanning their entire young lives, the youngest has 3 albums. Most of the pages are themed and the albums each tell a great story. I firmly believe that once they get to my age (44) they will cherish having these albums to remember their childhoods.

Ouch!
Missouri Resident Fishing permit is $12, and has been that for at least the last couple years. You can add trout to that for $7, which I always do just in case I go, although I rarely go trout fishing.

tablerock
From what I've read elsewhere the water temps are ranging from mid-40's to low 50's, depending on what part of the lake you are on. PM sent with some other information.

Any of you watch this show? Around here it's on FX Thursday nights at 9:00pm. I think it's absolutely hilarious. Very politically INcorrect, which is usually right up my alley.

Favorite Beer
Took the words right off of my keyboard Uncle Leo... Chimay is like silk. In the end, though, I like so many beers, my two favorite are: cold or free... and if you can get both, then life is truly good! So I bought a small bottle of the Chimay (Blue Label) to try tonight based on the recommendations from this thread. It's pretty good and probably excellent if you like that style of ale. It was much smoother and easier to drink than the Scottish Ale I mentioned previously, but by 2/3 of the bottle (11.2 oz) I was done with it. I guess the malts just wear me down. I would say it's an excellent sipping beer. It is for enjoying not drinking, try the Red Label. I agree, and I like the Red Label better myself. Like Chimay, Orval is another outstanding Trappist beer (brewed in a Trappist abbey, and brewed by or under the control of Trappist monks).
