Hindsight - Would you have done anything differently this season?
In hindsight, I should have stopped fishing ponds in the spring and started on the bigger, deeper bodies of water.

Moving again
I’ve been moving people for 30 years. Few things I’ve learned over the years. Hand carry breakable items, don’t pack them. Label all boxes with the contents. Don’t put the heavy boxes on top of the light boxes. Good luck on your move.

Scent additives.... Waste of money or worth it??
I will put scent in the same category as color. Sometimes it will matter, and sometimes it doesn’t.

Finesse jigs
SK 1/8 oz Bitsy Bug is what I use.
-
Highly Pressured pond techniques
Zoom finesse worm on a split shot rig, or a 3” senko type on a split shot rig.

Is Bass Fishing a Seasonal Sport?
Around here my season is usually from mid March until the end of November. It will be longer or shorter depending on the air temps and if the water freezes.

Packing for a day on the water
When I go out in a boat I fish anywhere from 5 to 12 hours. I usually take several boxes of plastics, jigs, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. I’ll bring from 4 to 6 rods with me. I usually end up fishing one or two baits on one or two rigs.

Think you are smarter than us older generation people?
When I was about 11 my mom told me that some of the smartest people you know, will be some of the dumbest people you'll ever meet. When I was in my teens I realized she was talking about book smarts and common sense.

So.. do you have a lucky charm?
Just experience and being observant.

Favorite time of year and conditions to fish?
Fishing weed mats on a hot summer day. Just enough wind to keep the mosquitoes away, and hot enough to keep the crowds at home.

Farewell 2020
This year started out pretty rough. Layoffs at work, everything was shut down, and the fishing was terrible. If you would have told me in May that I would catch a 5-1/2 lb and a 4-1/4 lb I would have laughed in your face and said you're crazy. Things started to get a little better during the summer months with the bite picking back up and work leveling off a bit. Very thankful that no one has gotten sick

Don't let the bait monkey get ya, 2020 edition
I'm looking at retiring my curado and revo at the end of the year, so I'm going to need a couple of new baitcasters. I will also be replacing a couple of spinning rods that I got second hand which are at least 20 years old. The last thing is one more light tackle rig maybe ml or light action.

What’s your fishing style
Junk angler right here. I'll have everything from a 1/2 oz. spinnerbait to a split shot rig in the boat with me. I'm trying to get into finesse fishing for the winter months, but old habits die hard.

Tips for beginner.
Pull up Glenn's videos on YouTube and watch them all.

2020 Tatula ct reviews?
Very timely. I have a CT100H that is 2 years old. I was thinking about buying one of these new ones.

Snap Swivel/Hand Tremors
I use duo-lock snaps on moving baits. They are a lot easier to use when your hands are cold. You've got to be careful with them. They are not all made the same.
-
Never get to crankbaits...
Most of the crankbaits I use are either shallow running, or mid depth baits. I have some deep divers, but they haven't been wet in years.
-
In between times...
This time of year I get more choosy about when I go fishing. I'll watch the weather more for temp, and rain, than for just the wind.

100% Skunked this morning
This fall has been a rough one. I've been skunked on about 1/2 my trips since the beginning of October.
-
Rank the importance
Instead of ranking them I would group them together. Location and timing together, and type, presentation, and color together.

Waking up super early is easily the worst part of fishing for me.
I've been getting up at 4 AM to go work for years now. Problem is when I want to sleep in I still get up at 4 AM.

bank fish dream spot beware of overhead obstruction.
There use to be cut off power lines on some old utility poles that ran across a pond I fish. The poles were down and in the water the beginning of last year. I'm not sure if the poles rotted out, or they fell from all of the fishing tackle that was hanging off of them
