  1. I don't think it matters. For me it is more of a personal choice.
  2. In deep water I like a spinnerbait, or a rat-l-trap. In the shallows I use a 1 minus.
  3. Another vote for the Heddon torpedo. I usually use natural leopard.

  8. No, but I've gone in the water after a rod before.
  9. Here in the Midwest warm days in the spring are windy days.
  10. After a while you learn how to spot areas that look like it might hold a bass or two.

  13. I can't stand ticks. I try to keep out of the high weeds as much as possible, but sometimes those little buggers are in the short grass too.
  14. I have used BPS, War Eagle, Strike King, and a lot of others that I can't remember. They all will catch bass, but the biggest difference is in how they hold up over time.

  19. I use 10# mono for the smaller size topwater baits. The buzzbaits and frogs get the baitcaster rig.
  20. I would buy one, then save up, and buy the other.

  22. Punching is the only time I ever peg the weight.
  23. April 19 and 20. It looks like the 19th is the warmest day and the temp starts cooling down from there. The water takes longer to cool down so it stay warmer, longer.
