  1. Try and find out what kind of baits and rigs the boater will be using. You don't want to start dead sticking a tube if he is burning crankbaits and spinnerbaits.
  2. If this site had a chat room I wouldn't get anything done at work.
  3. Good going. It never hurts to save a little $$$.
  4. I start by going to the local stores. If they do not have what I am looking for then I go online.
  5. Zoom salty chunks in both sizes, and Zoom super chunk in both sizes are my favs. However, I will use whatever plastic I have in my box for a trailer if I have to.
  6. I'm still working on finding mine. I don't consider my PB a PB. It is just a place holder until I break the record.
  7. Last black eye I got was from getting up in the middle of the night and walking into a half open door. Knocked me out cold for I don't know how long, but when I woke up my eye looked like a jig, all black and blue.
  8. I have followed Mizzou over the years, and I still cannot get my head around this.
  9. The question I would be asking is how often it was used. By the looks of it, it got used pretty much.
  10. Another vote for the rat-l-trap. I usually start them slow, but if you are snagging cover then I would speed up the retreive a little.
  11. You might add blue/black, black, and orange/brown for colors. You also can't go wrong with baby brush hogs, and tubes for plastics.
  12. Lipless baits. They are great for running right over the tops of submerged weeds.
  13. If its a senko you can cut it in half and trim up the tail to square it off. Put it on a number 2 hook, and you will catch little ones all day. Great for when the bite slows down.
  14. Congrats and good luck! Do it the old fashioned way and get down on one knee.
  15. I like Spro frogs because a lot of the water I fish is very clear. I can cast them far enough away from the boat where I won't spook the bass.
  16. I like the Zoom small tubes. I think they are like 3-1/2" or so. I have never caught a hawg on them, but when the bite is tough they clean up on smaller bass.
  17. About the only two I use are Mann's 1 minus and Storm sub-warts. I love to use them over the tops of weeds.
  18. I hold the fish both ways. It also depends on who is taking the picture.
  19. Yes. I don't get to fish that much, so I go whenever I can.
  20. Good to hear! You won't regret it.
  21. First of all Happy Thanksgiving! My wife is in charge of roasting the bird. I am in charge of eating it!
  22. Wow, glad everyone made it through ok. We saw the storms forming over and moving east.
