  1. WTG, Sounds like you had a great time out there!
  2. Those are in a couple of the ponds that I fish.
  3. I know that if someone wants something bad enough they will find a way to get it, but come on. http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/pricey-hair-extensions-are-hot-trend-in-st-louis-attracting/article_9c581f13-a2e1-53b8-8f9c-e8ffb6fbc28e.html
  4. I know I have bought some dumb things over the years, but for the life of me I can't think what they were. I must be in denial.
  5. Didn't carve one this year. With work and all the stuff at home, I didn't have a lot of time.
  6. Those are some nice bass!
  7. Nice bass, and some cool pics!
  8. If I know the bass are there, and the bass have the potential to be hawgs, I might stick it out for an hour or two. You never know when the bite will turn back on.
  9. I take a 6" senko cut it in half, and then trim up the end a little to lose the taper. I don't catch a lot of hawgs on it, but the bass about a pound or so can't leave it alone.
  10. Mine are green pumpkin, junebug, and watermelon.
  11. I don't have a favorite, but I do have some rods that I use for specific baits. If one of those rods would break, I wouldn't run right out and buy a new rod from any one company. I'd shop around to see how much bang I could get for my buck. IMO, customer brand loyalty is the quickest way for a company to start producing goods that are not up to par.
  12. Wow that's a bummer.
  13. For this area, Jigs, rat-l-traps, and super flukes.
  14. Years ago I used snaps and swivels all of the time. Now I have gotten to the point where I tie everything. I have had too many snaps and swivels break and I got tired of losing fish.
  15. Great article! When I snag a crank I will either lose the bait, or pull some of the cover back to the boat.
  16. Most of the lakes that I fish aren't over 25' deep. I get most bites around cover or structure, so I'll say whatever depth those are at.
  17. If you didn't get skunked then you did good. Nice looking bass!
  18. I'd probably call the GW, or the sheriff and report a UFO in the woods.
  19. Congrats!
