Gulf Coast Oil Spill
Really Burley? Did you have to put your troll costume on for this one? You do know that a troll is someone that uses an anonymous ID to post and not their regular ID and their regular persona. I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin. Not true. Regular posters can troll without resorting to an anonymous ID.

I am in love with this vehicle.
Without a doubt that body style is probably the most beautiful along with close to perfect that has ever been built. Especially when you consider the lineage and the fact it's been around for 60 YEARS!

Gulf Coast Oil Spill
Really Burley? Did you have to put your troll costume on for this one? While you may be too young to remember, it was very common to dump your used oil from an oil change down the sewer or pour it along fencing to kill weeds back in the day before oil recycling facilities became available. On topic. I don't understand. You've got hundreds of these rigs drilled a mile deep and now one blows and they don't seem to have a reliable contingency plan on how to cap off the well? > Somebody needs to held accountable for this in a criminal sense. This is negligence pure stupidity.

Is it ok to remove the foam in a coleman crawdad?
I'm sure it was just put in there for protection during shipping. :

Guess the Weight?
Those would be a lot heavier if you caught them in Virginia and had them weighed on "calibrated" scales.

Rumor has it, that with all the rain, KY and Barkley have merged into one lake and will now be considered the 6th Great Lake.

allstar rods...older generation
I fish older Titaniums exclusively. They're getting harder and harder to find. I will probably wind up switching over to Falcon Cara's or Avids in the future when rods need replacing. I'll hate to do it though. I LOVE those older Allstars and yes, they're still one of the best buys in rods today. Incredibly sensitive for the price and tough as nails. You don't have to treat those rods like a piece of fine china.

allstar rods...older generation
Check the forums and Ebay. You'll find both Titaniums and Platinum 783's up for sale frequently. In fact, I sold a P783 a couple months ago on Ebay.

Supra bass boat....???
I vaguely recall the boat brand. They were sold as entry level boats. As in many entry level boats, especially built in the "wood" era of construction, I would be highly suspicious of the transom, floors and stringers in that thing. Here's a Supra owners site. http://www.supraboats.com/bbs/forumdisplay.php?f=5

Tornadoes and flooding rains? Well, at least it's not snow!

What kind of boat did you fish your first....
It was 1976. I fished with my boss in a club tourney out of his 14' john with a 20hp motor on Wappapello lake in Missouri. I bought my first boat in 1977, a 16' Tomboy bass boat somewhat similar to what Catt pictured with a 40hp Johnson.

Lower end St. Croix rods
There's already a thread going about the mojo's. I have heard not so good things about the Triumphs and Premiere's.

who manufactures basspro asnd cabelas rods and reels???
I'm sure pure fishing is making those reels but not Pflueger itself. Most of the models within the BPS/Browning line have little in common with any specific Pflueger reel in their line other than some internal machining.

Most Beautiful Part of the United States of America
There aren't many places in Virginia, W. Virginia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee or Mid - upper NY that I didn't like. Love the Ozarks in MO/Ark. This country is really blessed with much beauty for all tastes.

LOZ Grand Glaize
Not a big fan of the GG arm. Lot's of boat traffic, especially in the Summer. Fishing has always been hit or miss there. A bunch of tournaments take off out of PB2 so there's always a lot of fish being re-introduced into the lake there but it doesn't always result in better fishing. Enjoy your retirement and remember, the lake is pretty decent to run on during the week, just stay off of it on the weekends.

1983 Bass Tracker Tournament tx17
On your first trip to the lake, resist the urge to go blasting off into the sunset and drive around the boat ramp area for a little while. Those early trackers were known to leak, some bad. You wouldn't want to get too far from the trailer if the boat would start to take on a lot of water.

"Gambler" Tournaments
That people are profiting from. ie: tournament organizations holding what amounts to a fishing derby for profit. It would seem the public should be receiving some reparations for the usage of the public use facility along with the usage of the resource. Perhaps even limiting the numbers that can monopolize such facilities or lake week in and week out.

After 12+ years of browsing forums...
and when you're a drooling old fart wearing depends these kids will be in positions of responsibility... think about it.. they'll be typing out your prescription label for the pills that keep your butt from leaking, typing out the Social Security letter that explains why your benefits are getting cut if you don't respond soon enough, typing out the directions on how to plug your electric car in correctly so you don't blow the house up... scary thoughts...

Crappie and Bass
The owner should take advantage of the Missouri Conservation Dept's pond management department and get professional advice. Just dumping some stocking size LMB's into a pond loaded with stunted bluegill and crappie will serve no useful purpose other than creating a bunch of stunted bass.
