finally finished my transome repair!!!
You don't have to use one of the aftermarket products like rott doctor or Seacast. If you're still interested, both of these websites offer step by steps on transom repairs. There are actually a couple different methods of repair using either of these products. Seacast also has a self leveling mixture for repairing stringers. http://www.rotdoctor.com/glass/GLrotrepair.html http://transomrepair.com/zk/

Tear In Transducer Cord?? Interference?
If by the inner wire you mean the braided ground shield wire which is wrapped around the inner conductor, no it won't cause interference. If that braided wire has been damaged it could cause an impedance problem which could give false readings. Otherwise, follow Jig mans advice.

In a slump....
You can fish 3-4 times a week, catching around 10 per trip and you're complaining? :

i hate gambling
You used to be able to buy around 3-4 minutes of Destiny for $20. I haven't been in one of those places in a long while but I'm sure that rate has gone up due to inflation.

The best way to replace a floor
If you've got some pictures of the boat in question it would be easier to give you some ideas as to directions you could take.

Bass Pro Shops reels, number of bearings??
The good and bad of those handle bearings. It makes the handle seem marginally smoother. They also spin really nice. The bad. If you're working a soft plastic back on a sensitive rod and bump one of those handles and get it spinning, that spinning telegraphs back into the rod and becomes somewhat annoying.

What are they eating II ?
If I'm fishing along, throwing a white spinnerbait and catch a 3lber with a crawdad in it's throat I could guess a few things about that bass and why it struck my bait. One, that the fish is feeding on crawdads, though not exclusively. Two, that the fish is actively feeding period and is doing what it does best, attacking anything edible within it's reach. Three, the fish is within it's preferred structure/cover zone and it attacked both the crawdad and the spinnerbait in defensive strikes of that zone. In any case, while I will continue to fish the spinnerbait but I will definitely make sure I have at least one or two crawfish imitating baits rigged and on the deck (if I don't already) and begin alternating casts between the rods.

Considering you're wanting to switch from an aluminum boat to fiberglass, I think the term "tipsy" is a pretty subjective term.

Tropical Storm Erika
Just watching the WC this morning and the storm has moved west of the windwards and is falling apart and becoming disorganized due to upper level winds tearing the thing apart. It's possible the storm may fall completely apart before getting to Cuba.

How Would You Handle the Situation?
I'd have taken his boat numbers down and reported him to the Illinois DNR. Not sure the exact laws in the state but similar laws for hunters and fishermen elsewhere to protect them from the antics of the PETA folks may apply since he was attempting to interfere with your abilities to legally take game or fish.

You're Invited to the 5th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
Your end location is just a little North of Pickwick by a few miles but you're right in the ball park. As for knowing people. Spend time on the forum and you'll get to know some of those coming. Sunday is check in time. Name tags are handed out with the goodie bags (provided you've registered) and folks get to put faces to screen names. Last year was my first year but I got to know quite a few folks well by the end of the week. Great bunch of people. 8-)

The 203 Champion was the last of the 92" beam 20 footers Champion made that started with the first 20 foot boat in the bass boat business, the 201. The 203 is a rear gas tank model. The 206, which replaced it, gained 3" in the beam and the tank was moved midship as the 4 strokes came onto the scene. If you want to see the 203 hull in action and what it's capable of, take a look at this redone video of old Champion sales tapes they used to show at boat shows in the late 80's. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5689956774383453452&hl=en# The boats featured are the 184 and the 201. The 201 is shown primarily in the 2nd half of this video. The hull on the 203 had only some tweaking done to it along with the addition of 2 extra inches of beam width. It's very capable of handling every bit as well, or better than the boat in the video. BTW, those breech stops are no joke nor staged. I did a couple of those twice in my old 168 Super V. A very violent maneuver and not one I'd suggest doing on purpose.

What´s wrong in here ?
Naw. As rough as KY lake was this year during the roadtrip, a bow rider wouldn't have been for very long.

It's time to replace the boat seats!!!

how did you get started tourny fishing
I started in the '70s with a local club and fished every money tournament in my area. As I got better at tournament fishing I fished several tournament trails(never good enough to make the big time) and was in the money enough to cover expenses. Now that I have joined Team Depends(many, many years ago) I fish 2 0r 3 local tournaments a week, still in the money enough to make expenses). When I get so old I am nor competitive I will go back to fun fishing. Kelley Kelley- Who are you kidding? You'll be fishing tounaments at 90. Next year right? ;D You mean he's not 90 already?? :running/:

RODSS????
Which model All Star were you using? I've owned them for years and never had a one break unless I stepped on it or broke it off in a door.

Boats steer from the right cars/trucks steer from the left side
Here's another explanation that sounds more logical: The steering wheel or helm is usually installed on the right hand side of a vessel at sea. This is because the international "rules of the road at sea" require you to give way to other vessels approaching from your right hand side. The helm is so placed to ensure better visibility to the right hand or starboard side of the boat. There is no legal requirement, it is just usual practice.

RODSS????
:-? All Star doesn't make their eyelets. Most manufacturers don't. They're usually made by Fuji, Hardloy or some others. Unless you're getting abusive with your rods, I've had no problems with All Star guides at all. Just what kind of problem have you had with them?

DD22 in a farm pond?
Using the DD22, some patience and a lot of casting you could be responsible for removing most of the slime on that pond bottom and make life easier for so many other fishermen. Go for it.
