Shadcranker's suggestion of seeing a CPA is on target. If you do not make a profit in three (3) years the IRS, under the rules established by Congress, will consider the activity as a hobby. It you take your expenses as a deduction you better be ready to defend them as the IRS will audit you. If you title your boat in a company name and use it for business purposes the IRS will be very interested in this activity. My wife works for the Treasury Department and you 1) never want to talk to her and 2) she says you never want to be audited by the IRS. So invest some bucks into a CPA's opinion and avoid the IRS at all costs.

On Wednesday, his former trainer Brian McNamee disputed that claim once again and this time claimed that he also had physical evidence that would tie The Rocket to the use of performance enhancing drugs. More specifically, McNamee turned over "vials with traces of steroids and human growth hormone, blood-stained syringes and gauze pads that may contain the seven-time Cy Young Award winner's DNA." According to former federal prosecutor Brian Lysaght, "If Roger Clemens' DNA is on that used needle, that's the functional equivalent of the little blue dress in the Monica Lewinsky case that forced Bill Clinton to admit his affair." Another former prosecutor says that if the DNA matches, Roger is in "high jeopardy" of a criminal case if he's lying. Apparently, Congress doesn't like it when you lie to them. Imagine that.

One day at a bass pro's home, the mother was out and the bass pro was in charge of daughter and brother who is four years older than the little girl. The duaghter was maybe one and a half years old and had just recovered from an accident in which her arm had been broken among other injuries when she fell out of the boat. Hank Parker had given the daughter a little 'tea set' as a get-well gift and it was one of her favorite toys. The bass pro was in the living room engrossed in the evening news and the brother was playing nearby in the living room with his new baitcastr reel when the daughter brought the bass pro a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, the Mom came home. The bass pro made her wait in the living room to watch the daughter bring him a cup of tea, because it was 'just the cutest thing!!' The Mom waited, and sure enough, here came the daughter down the hall with a cup of tea for the bass pro and she watches him drink it up, then says, "Did it ever occur to you that the only place that baby can reach to get water is the toilet??"

Some universities have marine biology concentration within their biology department. Others have marine biology as a major. If you want to find the schools that have marine sciences you must Google "Sea Grant Universities" and the list will appear for each state. I thought William and Mary was Virginia's "Sea Grant" university but it may be ODU. Check it out. Just go to college and have a great time; get the degree; consider graduate school; or go to work and pay a lot of F.I.C.A. ;D Just get that degree.

Suggestions 1. Install a circuit breaker from the batteries to the electrical equipment. 2. Install an upgraded sonar and WASS system. 3. If you have the space, go for a 24-volt, three-battery system for your trolling motor. 4. Stainless steel motor prop can give you 10% more speed. 5. Make sure the "low oil" alarm works on the motor. 6. Install a better grade battery charger. Have fun.

No question is dumb. The answers can be dumb, but if the individual asking the question is sincere and truthful then it is a valid question even though 99.9% of others may know the answer. I remember in 7th grade when the teacher had us doing math on the basis of a clock using 60 as our base number. But she failed to tell us that she was using 60 as the base number and a number of us were totally confused when we did the math problems. One guy finally got the nerve to ask the teacher what was going on and the rest of the class laughed at him. At recess a bunch of us thanked him as we had no idea what was going on. The "teachers pets" (mostly girls) knew but the rest of us were in a fog. So a forthright answer to a query is proper. Now, when I taught in college you had to be careful not to ask "Are there any questions?" without clarifying that the request for questions applied to the topic. A few times the class would ask off the wall questions in reply to my "Are there any question?" and they were 100% correct in asking. Yes, it was funny. But it only happened to me a few times. College kids. They know everything!

Long Mike, Not only is it difficult to read and understand the posts when they are not gramatically correct, it is very difficult to comprehend very long paragraphs. The more "white space" in a post means it is easier to read and understand. What kills me is when the college and pro football and basketball players are interviewed on TV. Their grammer is atrocious. I wonder how strong are their writing skills? And some of the members want to be pro bass fishermen and unless they have good articulation and writing skills they will never make it in pro bass fishing. If you want to be successful in life one needs good grammer and writing skills. So you are dead-on when you advise the members to use correct English and spelling when posting. Joe McKnight, the hot shot running back from John Curtis in Louisiana two years ago selected Southern Cal over LSU stating that he wanted to be a sports announcer when he grows up. LSU's School of Mass Communications is one of the top ten public university communications programs so you know that was a lot of baloney. But have you ever heard McKnight speak? Just ax him a question. I hope he has a good NFL career. Keep it up.
