I vote for the core as well. I have 2 Curado 50e's, 2 Core 100mg's and a Core 50. As @Delaware Valley Tacklesaid...the Core is much more refined.

I too have been wondering about the BX Brat's. I noticed that Dick's is having a promotion where Ripstops, Shadow Raps, Shadow Rap Shads, & BX Brats are 3 for $20. Been wondering if I should try.

For light stuff I use the AWS-100 digital scale that I bought from Amazon for $10. Weighs up to 100g (3.53oz) in 0.01 gram increments so really accurate.

Sorry Tom, I am a bit confused on what you said about Berkley not offering 8# Big game. Are you referring to regular spool or bulk spools? I have bought bulk spools of 6# and 8# Big Game in both clear and green.

Keep checking amazon.ca....they pop on there from time to time being sold by Amazon. That is where I got my last 4 and they were cheap. I am guessing that you already tried Bass City and Pro J? You mentioned checking Basspro but did you ask them to bring some in for you? I had the store down by me bring in some Pro-Tec powder paint that the store doesn't sell but the website does. It took a couple of weeks but it arrived. Sadly....no DicksSports in Canada. They won't ship here either.

Are the soft plastics reacting at all with the boxes? It's been a long while now but I recall buying something similar and the boxes melted as they weren't "wormproof" as they used to say in the old days.

What speed are your faster reels? Also what brand and model? My initial thoughts are, to have the versatility you want, a 6.1-6.3:1 would work great unless you were throwing a 10xd a lot.

My favorite spinnerbaits have been War Eagle's screamin eagle, Terminator t1 and in some situations the Booyah pond magic and Tiny t1 have been fantastic. Also wanted to mention that this past summer I added some Eco Pro Tungsten Rapid Fire's and they worked out great. As for replacement skirts my main choices have been War Eagle and SK perfect skirts. I keep wanting to get some Lumaflex skirts to try but just haven't done so for some odd reason.

I have one and it works well when using the narrow, normal spools of line. A bit of a pain when using a bulk, bigger spools like the bulk Big Game.

The last time I had tried to order the Lady to whom I spoke on the phone told me that both billing and shipping had to match, BUT....after several orders were made they would consider allowing a different shipping address. They are trying to cover their butts....can't say that I blame them but it is frustrating.
