  1. Aaron Martens isn't the only one who doesn't recommend a palomar on flouro.Seaguar has knot instruction for flouro with every spool you buy.The palomar is not recommended.I have been told by a few anglers not to use it with flouro.
  2. I use a few different hooks.EWG hooks for c-rig or larger profile plastics like a horny toad.I like a straight shank worm hook for most of the plastics I throw.I feel it is important to get the right size hook for the size plastics you throw.I use a 3/0 worm hook on a 5" senko, for example.
  3. I'll bet she has hit a homerun!That's really cool.....too cool!
  4. I think one certain presentation is going to dominate a tournament be it finesse or power.Seasonal conditions and body of water the tournament is held on,helps dictate what type of pattern that dominates.Finesse has always been there. It is versatility that may be taking over.
  5. Amen Frogtog! Happy B-Day FBK352! Keep in mind, you are now of age!
  6. They opened a BPS in Branson,MO a year or so ago.Don't get discouraged if you don't find good selection for a little while. It took Branson's BPS a while to get stuff in. To answer your question:I think you should check out the BPS 3 1/2" tender tube if you fish tubes.

I think if people don't have anything nice to say, they shouldn't say nothing. She's dead!I guess it is easier to kick a dog when it's dead, huh? This is a free country and you got the right to express your feelings but condemning the dead is pretty low,I don't care who it is.That's all I got to say on this one. CJ

To answer your question, brown and green=green pumkin pretty much anyway.
  9. Aaron Martens is my pick.Kevin Wirth is who I would like to see win it.

There all to busy trying to claim her child.Afterall that's where the money goes isn't it? I think her death has been sad.People should show more respect for one who has passed on.Even if what she did in the past was wrong,it is tragic that she will not get the chance to defend herself or make any of the wrong right. We only see what TV wants us to see.In every celeb there is a person.
  11. I use BPS 3 1/2 tender tube(you should really check these out)and a Mizmo 4" tube.I use a 6'6"med/fast spinning outfit.I use no more than 10#test flouro.
  12. That's just too cool!Way to go,Nick!
  13. I use 1/4 oz. and 3/8 oz. slide in jigheads. They can be a little hangy. If I get into real rocky spot I use a pro slider jig head.
  14. I know I shouldn't be so negative about the Cards pitching,Muddy.Like Bassmasta7 listed they don't know for sure their starters. On a positive note, maybe they'll make a big trade.I was really expecting to see them move C.Duncan for a good starter.Weaver signed with Seattle for a year.Suppan went to the Brewers(hated to see that). They do however got some young guns that can pitch.Wainwright will probally fill one of the starter spots. They also have another guy we should be hereing alot about,Tate.
  15. I don't know,Muddy.Have you seen their projected starting rotation?

    ...and everbody said: AMEN
  17. I would make sure I had green pumkin or road kill with some lime dip for the tail.I really like the BPS 3 1/2 in tender tube with a 3/8 slide in jighead.Just a subjestion.
  18. I heard you right,Pa! ;D If the pitchers and catchers are reporting, that means the Cards ain't got much showin' up!Our pitchin' is gonna really stink this year.
  19. Weather pending, there may still be some smallmouth on the beds in April, especially the first of April. The best post spawn technique for smallmouth around here is a tube dragged slowly on bottom,IMO.Jigs work really well also.I wouldn't say an Ika or senko wouldn't work but keep in mind you will probally find smallmouth in the 10-15 ft. range, usually rocky main lake points or rocky spots along the deeper river channel ledges.
  20. Green pumkin and watermelon work about the same.I throw green pumkin mostly.
  21. I already have.I first discovered Bass Resource on my parents computer(before I got my own).I had my Dad print off a bunch of the articles and made my own "bassin' bible".
  22. I flipped the mats for a week or so down on Toho and I used a Zoom Lil' Craw t-rigged and pegged on a 1 1/4 oz. tungten penatrater. The first time a fish grabbed it I thought I was hung up.Dang that was fun.
  23. I gotta 2nd that!
  24. Netbait Baby Paca Craw in green pumkin.
  25. How about a Tiny Paca Chunk!
