  1. I have 2 of these reels that I got at the Spring Classic last year. I fished them all summer long and had no problems with them at all. If they are on sale at the Spring Classic again then I would recommend them definitely.
  2. I keep them in their original bags as well.
  3. Falcon Cara T7 Reaction CCB-4-165JBS and also Falcon Cara T7 CC-5-167S is also a great jerk bait rod.
  4. Strike King, Kinami, YUM etc... They are all great. I have really been enjoying the Tightlines UV soft plastics lately.
  5. Should be fine with that gear ratio and you will enjoy that reel.
  6. The Cumara rods have always excelled at bottom contact techniques. With that said the Cumara Crankbait rod is going to be lighter and more sensitive and more then likely worth the extra money. Just my opinion.
  7. Thats good to hear. They really look very nice.
  8. I do not think their is anyway to go wrong with either one of those reels. I have just got one of the new STX reels but have not got to fish it enough yet to say that I like it better then my Chronarch yet.
  9. Never seen a jig with a trailer hook but it would more then likely not work.
  10. Thanks for posting that video. I have been looking for that video for a while.
  11. 50lbs Power Pro Super 8 Slick or Yo-Zuri Hybrid in 15lbs test.
  12. A good bearing and drag upgrade always makes for some happy happy happy reels.
  13. I got two JM Carbonlite reels at the Spring Classic for a very good price and have been very happy with their performance. But of those reels mentioned I would go with Shimano Citica.
  14. preach4bass is correct. Forgiveness is the answer here.
  15. I have a Beretta PX4 9mm, Kimber Tactical Pro II 45 and a Stoeger Cougar in 9mm and 45. For price wise you can't beat the Stoeger Cougar. Price wise they are very well made guns and function very well. They are still made on the machines from Beretta and to Beretta specifications. For stopping power a 45 is tough to beat. Its best to just find a gun that fits your hands and feels very comfortable. You will know when you pick it up and hold it.
  16. Jig of any type, but prefer a swim jig over anything.

Northstar 5/16oz all White with white Kinami 4" single tail grub in Pearl Silver. Been trying the new Rage Tail single tail grub in Blue Glimmer Flake with good success as well. Also like the Sexy Shad color with the same trailers.
  18. I can not wait to try these. I love my Cumara's I currently have and my 1 Cumulus rod.

A spinnerbait or a heavier swim jig
  20. 7' 2" MH/XF Cumara rod and a Chronarch 200E with Power Pro Super Slick braided line in 50lbs test.
  21. Spinner bait
  22. I also use Shimano Cumara and Crucial rods and I have both Fast and Extra Fast actions and I prefer Extra Fast action over Fast action rods for fliipin and pitchin.
  23. Yo-Zuri Hybrid in 12, 15 and 17lbs test also use Braid in 40 to 55lbs test.
