  1. I could never root for Lebron! I just can not stand him, granted he is a great player but the way he handled the whole Cleveland situation was terrible. Now if the Heat did not have Lebron, then I would have no problem rooting for them, except for when they are playing the Celtics! I hope the Celtics can pull it off tonight, but if not I will be rooting for the Thunder!
  2. I have both Lews and Shimano reels and I can honestly say that after over a year of fishing my Lews Tournament Pro Reels I am more then happy with them over my Curado E reels. I have had no problems with my Lews reels and have just performed normal maintenance on them, clean, lube, etc... I will say that having a dual braking system is not needed but on those days of fishing when its pretty windy, it is nice to have the option to dial in some magnetic brake. But most of the time the magnetic is set to 0 and I only have 2 of the centrifugal brakes on. As for the looks, I absolutely love the flat black look and the carbon fiber handle and I love the paddle type knobs. The finish is verdy duarble and has held up very well. Both the Lews and Shimano reels are outstanding and it is going to be completely up to the user as to what they like and what they want to use. I like both reels but I prefer my Lews reels.
  3. I am curious to hear some feedback on the Okuma Helios, that reel is just awesome looking!
  4. Huge difference! The cheaper glasses just don't have the best polarized lenses and the better the polarized lense the better they are going to be. I have prescription Oakley sunglasses with Oakley polarized lenses and I would never use anything else again, well worth the $$$$
  5. I know what your talking about. Their is a APP for Droid phones that lets you set all sorts of things. I haven't found anything like it yet for my iPhone. So I just use the GPS and way points etc...
  6. I alos get excited when I get a bite and pretty much catch anything. But really anything over 3lbs really gets the blood pumping good!
  7. I voted for the Celtics but after tonights performance I am not sure anymore. I didn't think they stood a chance against the Heat to begin with but the BIG 3 have been playing very well and so has Rondo. Only time will tell, bring on game 7!
  8. I like the YUM F2 Shakalicious and I also like Big Bite Baits Jeff Kriet Squirrel Tail Worm
  9. Hard to beat Tackle Warehouse!
  10. X2 on this, his jigs are hard to beat!
  11. Ah yes 20lbs braid! Really up to you and what you like. All the lines mentioned will work very well. But Yo-Zuri is by far one of my favorite lines.
  12. I don't worry about line color. I use clear, green, camo, timber brown etc... I just don't believe it makes much difference, at least not with moving baits.
  13. I would really look at the Cumaras since they are on sale. Awesome rods. In that price range their are a lot of choices. St Croix, Dobyns, Powell, Daiwa, Loomis etc...
  14. Both work very well, but the Ultra Soft is the better choice for spinning gear.
  15. Snow White and the Huntsman was really good movie. The huntsman was played by Chris Hemsworth. Glad I didn't waste my money or time on Battleship.

Hard to believe its been 68 years. Thanks go out to all who have served our country past and present.
  17. The Kings just flat out got hot at the right time of the year. Its all about carrying over the momentum into and thru the playoffs. I believe they will close out the Devils tonight. The Devils just look flat!
  18. I have tried fishing them like a swim jig as suggested earlier and I still have not caught any fish on one yet. I am by no means giving up on them the action is great, I guess its only a matter of time till I prevoke one into bighting it.
  19. I agree the fish don't care what brand jig or brand of trailer. But a Northstar Jig with a Rage Tail Chunk is a pretty deadly combo in my book.
  20. I would go with the Lews Tournament Pro in the 7.1:1 Ratio
  21. The Carbonlite rods are very nice looking and very light, I have never fished one of them. But I do have the JM Signature Series rod and it has been a very nice surprise to me. Very sensitive and powerful, so I can't see the Carbonlite being to far behind the JM Signatures series.
  22. I have been fishing the 1 Qunatum Smoke I have since they came out and I have been very surprised so far. No problems and very smooth and very nice drag. I tried one just do soley to the looks of the reel. With that said I would go with either reel and I believe you will be very happy.
  23. I have fished both of them and both are very nice reels. The Carbonlite is much lighter and is very smooth and has a very nice drag and is comfortable to fish all day long. The Signature series is a little smoother and has a very nice drag as well but it is heavier and has a bigger frame size and to me is not as comfortable to fish all day long.
  24. I have several Lews Tournament Pro reels and have been using them for the past 2 years and have had no problems with them at all. I also have a couple for the Curado E series reels and have had no problems with them either. The Curado G series to me from what I have seen of them in the store it feels and looks like a green Citica, not impressed with them at all. I have never fished the Speed Spool but I have heard nothing but good things on these reels, for that matter I have heard nothing but good things about all of the Lews reels.
