I have the 7' MH spinning rod and it is a great rod. Great sensitivity and plenty of backbone.

I use both 12lbs and 15lbs test and have not had any problems with either. Just be sure and treat with KVD L&L and all will be great.

I would love to see the 86 Sooners take on this years Alabama Crimson Tide! Probably the 2 best defenses to ever step foot on the college football field.

I would go with the Curado based on those 2 choices.

I use the Falcon/Plano FTO terminal tackle boxes and I keep all of my soft plastics in their original bags and keep them in a big clear plastic box I picked up at Wal Mart with a lockable lid.

Its all personal preferrence, use it the way you feel most comfortable. I personally do not use leader on my braid setups.

I have one Smoke PT that I have had for almost a year now and I can say I am honestly very impressed with it so far.

Tatsu all the way, you will not be dissapointed with it once you get over the sticker shock.

I would take the Avid over the Duckett and I would take a Crucial over both. I have fished all 3 rods and in my opinion the Crucial is far superior in every area.

I have several of the Tournament Pro reels and they are amazing and have performed flawless for me. You will not be disappointed.

The Smoke reel is very nice, it does take some getting use to if you have never used Quantam products before. I decided to try one last year despite all of the questions about their durability and I definitely worked it very hard fishing last year. Had it on the same rod you are getting and it was a very nice, light and balanced combo and had no problems with this reel all year.

Avids are great rods, I am just not a fan of the hump they have in the grip.

Tebow has such a positive attitude and the open mind to learn and if Elway will take him under his wing mentor him and work with him to be a better passer I believe that Tebow will be a great QB. Will he be a Rodgers, Breese, Brady, Marino, Elway etc... Doubtful but only time will tell. But he has the attitude and the positive outlook to make changes and he works extremely hard at improving every day.

I am looking forward to trying these new rods out this coming year. Nice to hear some good reviews on these rods.

I leave them in their original bags and keep them in big plastic tubs with a sealing lid.

They are very nice rods, especially at their price point. I have used a couple of them and have no complaints other then the color.

A M/F would work very well and I would only consider the MH/F if you fish some heavy cover. As stated St Croix rods are under rated.

I just use painters tape as well.

I use a 6' 10" MH/XF for open water and a 6' 6" MH/XF for more accurate casts.

I like the Big Bite Baits Squirrel Tail worm and the YUM F2 Shakealicious.

Spinnerbaits do differ by manufacture, they range from cheap materials to medium grade to high end materials. The higher end spinnerbaits will last longer are easier to tune and track much truer.

Lots of good reels in that price range, really hard to pick a bad one. But the President and Symetre are two of the top ones.
