  1. I will usually go to a little smaller trailer with a little less action.
  2. It never amazes me the stupidity of some people in roles with power!
  3. Any pizza! Thin, thick, deep dish it does not matter to me.
  4. Never have tried the Sunline Super Natural but have heard lots of good things about it. I really like Suffix Elite and have been trying the new Spider Wire Ultracast Ultramono and have been impressed with it so far the couple outings I have had with it so far.
  5. I do not use a leader, but if I am fishing clearer water I will just switch to a different type of line.
  6. I would go with the Lews. I have fished both and the Lews is just a lot smoother all around.
  7. So I received my Okuma Helios reel and rod today. First impression of the reel very impressed and the rod looks very impressive as well. So I spooled up the reel with some 10lbs line(trying the new Spider Wire Ultra cast, Ultra mono) and am ready to hit the water with it tomorrow. Tied on a 5/16oz North Star swim jig.
  8. You can use any type of jig, just swim jigs tend to have a different style head and a smaller skirt and lighter weed guard. Also for me I use swim jigs in 1/4 and 5/16oz sizes primarily.
  9. I prefer to use 4 or 5 inch single tail grubs and will also use double tail grubs. Have also used a Swim Senko tail as well.
  10. If you want a phone that just flat out works perfectly and you don't have to worry about anything the the iPhone is for you. If you like to customize and change things then the iPhone is still for you, just jailbreak it, Very easy to do these days. Now if you really like tinkering under the hood and really getting down and altering the system the a Android phone is the way to go. Sam, sounds like to ma an iPhone 4S will just be perfect for you and you will love it, everything just flat out works perfectly every time all the time.
  11. I prefer 7.1:1 for all my jig fishing.
  12. I doubt we will see one. But you never know, its all about marketing and what they believe will sell.
  13. You should greatly enjoy that combo. I have used both items and they are great products, just never together.
  14. The Revo SX is not probably going to be the best choice for a beginner. The Revo STX or Premier would be if you like the looks of the Revos. But their are plenty of other reels in that price range as well. For a rod you will probably want a 6' 6" to 7' M/F to MH/F depending on the brand you like, For line if you want to use braid I would go with 30 to 40 lbs braid and their are a lot of great braided line companies out their, Power Pro, Suffix, Daiwa etc...
  15. I like a MH\XF rod for spinner baits.
  16. Yes their is, The blank and the components used in the construction of the rod. Both rods are excellently made rods in the USA plus also with the Avid you do get a life time warranty instead of a 5 year warranty with the Premiere. But both rods are available for St Croix's trade up program.
  17. I also used the palomar and have since switched to a knot that I saw Shaw Grigsby demonstrate. He does not know what it is called, lol If anyone does know the name please feel free to tell me!lol
  18. Yes spanking is approved in our house and yes it does get their attention and improves their little attitudes.
  19. Well that is a GREAT start, customer service to me goes a very long way!!
  20. Has anyone tried the reel and or rod? I really love the color combination and Tackle Tour gave the reel a great review. Just looking to see who if anyone has any experience them?
  21. Great Info! Pretty much the same steps my wife(RN) has me and the son do when we start to show signs of it.
  22. Its cheaper to just by one from Wal-Mart or when BPS or someone has them on sale. But they can be made out of PVC, does take some thoughtful planning. Home Depot and Lowes have nice selections of PVC that is already cut to some different lengths and end caps etc... Just have to go look and see and figure out how much space you have and how many rods and reels you want to store etc...
  23. I would take the Premier over the Patriarch any day. The reel is super light and smooth and has an incredible drag system as well. Even though both reels come from the same factory the Revo is made with higher quality components, in my opinion.
