  1. I have a friend who loves to fish cranks and he loves the KVD crank baits but he does not fish them the way they come out of the box. He changes the treble hooks and makes other changes to them, no clue what they are. I just give him mine and he tweaks them and they work.
  2. Fishing a jig requires a lot of patients. I learned by eating a peanut in between moving the jig. Crack the shell eat the peanut move the jig ever so slightly and repeat. Taught me the patients I did not have for a long time.
  3. You always want to use a trailer on a jig or swim jig. I have never used the Booyah swim jig but if you want a smaller profile then go with a smaller trailer and cut it down smaller if desired. I never really use any trailer under 4 inch on my swim jigs.
  4. You can use anything you like for a trailer on a finesse jig. I prefer to use Berkley Chigger Chunks on my finesse jigs.
  5. If I am drinking beer I drink Blue Moon and I also like Lost Coast Great White.
  6. When using those types of lines(Yo-Zuir, P-Line etc...) I always leave a longer then normal tag to avoid it slipping and pulling back thru.
  7. Truly a sad day for motorsport fans.
  8. Kinami Single taile grubs in 4 inch and Chompers or Berkley twin tail grubs.
  9. Love Nachos, ground beef, steak, chicken, etc... doesn't matter to me!
  10. Love all of my Lews Tournament Pro reels. Absolutely amazingly smooth and powerful!!
  11. I have had great luck with all of the Tight Lines UV baits I have tried and not had any problems with durability.

White, sexy shad and blue shad with Kinami 4 or 5 inch single tail grubs. I just swim them thru the grass or around some timber and pretty much anywhere else I would fish a spinner bait.
  13. I just called Pure Fishing and they sent me a new one and I replaced it myself in about 5 minutes.
  14. Trailer on spiner bait yes on buzz bait no. For line you can use any line you would like on spinner baits, I use either braid or flouro. For buzzbaits I use either mono or copoly line, wan't my line to have sime stretch. For rods, on spinnerbait rods I like a 6' 10" to 7' rods MH/F and MH/XF, for buzzbaits a 6' 6" to 7' rod M/F and sometimes I will use a MH/F rod
  15. It sounds like the spool tensioner is not working correctly. I had a STX that did the same thing you are describing, no matter how tight you set the spool tensioner it still falls very quickly. My issue turned out to be the clicker inside the spool tensioner. The part of the clicker that holds the spacer had cracked and the spacer was not able to apply the proper amount of pressure.
  16. Had the light bulb problem as well. Took a while to figure it out.
  17. Bleach works well and so does what Alpster posted.
  18. Swim jigs, jigs, soft plastics, spinner baits and buzz baits. With swim jigs being my favorite!
  19. Only time will tell, Bruins win game 1, in OT
  20. My Carbonlite is still going strong. No noises or grinding just super smooth and a very amazing drage system. So far I am very impressed, but will post more as it gets more and more use.
  21. The Amistad is an awesome rod and I would not call it a broom stick but it has more then enough backbone. The Wesightless worm rod is AWESOME!! Not only does it fish weightless soft plastics well but it is also my favorite jerk bait rod as well.
  22. I use 30# braid for swim jigs, 50 to 65# braid for fishing jigs and flippin jigs but I will also you fluorocarbon in the 10#, 15 and 20#. But I prefer braid.
  23. That rod is an awesome rod. I use mine for jigs and it is also a pretty darn good frog rod.
  24. Trying to find one for a small SUV is darn near impossible, much easier if you have large style SUV. If you find something I would be interested to see it. Finding something for a Jeep Liberty is impossible!
  25. I will watch all the way thru to the Stanley Cup, but I am pulling for the Bruins to repeat. Tough task to accomplish but we shall see what happens. Thats why they play the games and just don't talk about them.
