Same here, my average day is 1-3lbs. And then about once every five trips i will catch a 5lber and bigger.

I have heard of using a spark plug to knock off the snagged lure. I have never tried it but it seems like it would work.

5lbs and up is worth telling about.

I went to my uncle's house to see him and my grandparents. When we got there my aunt said they were at the hospital getting a hook out of my grandma's hand. Apparently she tried fly fishing and got the fly stuck in her hand. My uncle offered to try and get it out but she said lets just go to the hospital. They made a little cut and got it out. I think the best thing if you get a hook stuck is go to the hospital if its deep. But if you arent close to a hospital just do the string things. Another reason i wear sunglasses on the boat so my friends' poor hooksets wont hook my eyes. I think at bass pro they sell a hook removal kit. I have probably a 30% hookup % with swimblades. :'( That is my worst hookup % lure.

My uncle kayaks on lakes around Orlando with a lot of alligators in it. He said that they just leave you alone. I wouldnt worry about it. Actually I would if I was on a raft in alligator infested waters. :-/

I voted neither because i was not offended but i just didnt think it was funny. It was like a bombed joke.

My 9 year old neighbor has this ad in his bassmaster mag and last time i went fishing with him he had his clothes on. I think it was fine and was just meant for comedy. To go along with what avid said if they ban anything on tv it needs to be that erectile dysfunction crap. It leads to some very awkward moments when you are around your parents and grandparents and those commercials comes on.

Thats kinda cool. With the internet, you never know where pictures of you are going to end up. I definitely would not have expected it to be on a t-shirt. I would ask the company for money and if not money then at least a free Tee.

Dido, I have caught 2 now that are 5ish and both on green Senkos. But two days ago I caught a 28lb carp. That was fun.

Shoulda caught the python ( ;D) and casted him out to see if big mama wanted him.

Its been alright. I have been very very busy lately so I havent been able to even test my worms yet. :'( I went fishing yesterday and forgot the worms i made at home. I havent made my worms in about a week because of work and school. But this is our last week so as of Friday afternoon I will have 2 months to perfect my worms and I will get to fish every day. Im just mad i havent gotten to even fish with my worms yet. O well, i am going wed. and possibly all day Thurs. (or 6 flags ). I will definitely bring my worms and catch something. Well all I have to say is that they do take your DL for a first offense...at least here in PA. I was doing 77 in a 65...lost my DL for 15 days!!! First offense....never had an accident.....no speeding....NOTHING on my driving record. I broke the law, so I paid the fine (over $100) and lost my DL, thats what I get. Do you think I speed now? HECK NO! So taking your gear I think is acceptable. I don't think your friend will lose his stuff if he hasn't already, and the judge can have your gear returned to you after your hearing. It all depends on the judge and your ATTITUDE!!! Wow, I didnt know they could take ur license by going only 12 over. Most of the time they dont and i dont know all your story so im gonna leave it at that. They definetly did not take the guy's fishing stuff. I doubt he is going to have to go to court for it. He will probably just pay the fine.

Dont try my formula just yet because i guessed on the # of Tbs. i put in. I just poured in softener and kinda guessed. By the end of the weekend, I will I have my perfected formula.

I dont like the idea of preventing someone from buying a fishing license after one offense. I see it as if you were caught speeding, going 10 over and it is your 1st ticket and they take away your drivers license. Thankfully, they dont do this. They shouldnt do this in fishing either. It takes many tickets and wreckless things to get your drivers license taken away. To get your ability to purchase a fishing license taken away should not be done until after 2 or 3 offenses at least unless you are also doing something more severe to the hurt the fishing or the fishing area.

I used the plastic i made with urs and added about 3 tbs of softener. Now they are almost perfect. They are a little softer than senkos. I hope to use them very soon.
