I agree to an extent of some of the more storied teams like Green Bay and NY Giants keeping tradition. But there are ways to keep tradition and make it more modern. Teams like Seattle, Tenn., Denver, Miami, Buffalo, NY Jets, Jags etc. I think could do new logos and "high tech" unis will some good results. I also think the Titans, Ravens and Panthers could use an update on maybe not unis or colors but the logos are weak. Part of the fun of rooting for your team is having a bad azz logo. Denver is another example to add to Tampa, both those teams moved out of the 70's/80's with some really cool logo/color updates that made their merchandise take off.

Nice fish man, I just started fishing a jika on friday myself. I missed a hook up on one and landed the second about 14" so you did better than me I had basically the same setup, I had the line wrap the sinker a couple times so on sunday I added a swivel to tie the line. See how that works maybe tomorrow. Looking online you can find so many variations. But so far so good I like having the bait off the bottom and being able to give some more action on drags and slight movements. I was trying a baby brush hog but am dying to put a rattle snake on there and see what that does for me. Well good luck, hope we both have continued success with our new rig.

I would go with a Pflueger or a Daiwa IMO. Either brand for around $100 bucks you will get a super great reel. If you want it under a $100 then Pflueger gives you the Purist around $80 or as others mentioned the President around $60 and a Trion for $30-40.

I know we have some road racing/sports car fans on here. What are your thoughts and opinions on this? I was reading an article in the local paper about hometown Brumos leaving the series to see it shake down on the rules changes etc. Hurley Haywood was saying that the rules advantages will be to the Camaros and Ferraris and the number of competitors make it not favorable or even competitive for them to field a Porsche team. They will be taking a break and watch next year play out and may rejoin at a later date. What affect will it have on Sebring and Petite? Will European teams still show up, Sebring had little draw this year, start showing up once again?

My mom and brother both have lyme disease from ticks, it is a pretty nasty disease. They both got a big red swollen bee sting like area. A simple blood test at the doc can tell you for sure if your worried. But my suggestion is not to wait too long if you feel you have symptoms.
