  1. Hey everyone! Mom and dad took me out to a Chevrolet car dealership and said that they were looking at some ads for trucks (they knew I wanted a truck to haul my boat, ride to school with and work with) and they found a 2007 model Chevrolet Silverado, two-wheel drive, auto-matic transmission, AM/FM radio, A/C and Heating, long wheel base with an 8ft bed, snow white for $14,900. Of course with tax, etc. etc. the total was $15,700. It is a beautiful truck, brand new, smooth riding, etc. The deal was that my parents pay $10,000 on my brother and sister a new truck/car and they did the same to me. So all I owe them for it is $5,700 but I've got $2,000 in the bank so really I owe them $3k. They said it is for my graduation gift! I can haul my boat around, carry scaffolds for drywall (work), scrap houses of drywall (again work) and do all other stuff! I will take pictures tomorrow and post em! I am soooo happy about my new truck lol! We traded in my 2000 dodge neon for it (the neon was only worth $1,500), the total would originally come out to $18-19K but since we traded in the car they deducted the $1.5k and also my dad knew one of the guys working their (our neighbors brother in law), so we got a deduction/great deal. God bless 8-)
  2. Let me put it in a simple way.... [move]SCHOOL'S OUT![/move] It is probably about in the teens or twentys right now and we got about 2 inches of snow. The sun is shinning but I am out of school! YAY! ;D 8-) God bless
  3. I am selling it for $400 and buying another one which has a trailer, 3hp trolling motor and a 9.9 outboard engine for $750! Which is a sweet deal! So next boat I get will be better rigged! 8-)
  4. Probably a skinny, black cow with deer antlers ;D ;D ;D ;D Way cool though!
  5. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;DI haven't! ;D ;D ;D *hahahahaehehehehe! ahahahahahaeheheheeh!* ;D
  6. She's a 12' Heavy aluminum "V" hull jon boat. She came with the registration, and titles which we will sign to me. She also came with a 27# thrust 5 speed forward, 3 speed reverse hand gear, twin prop trolling motor, and two swivel seats for just $375! 8-) I got out today and wiped down the seats. I can't wait for this summer to try her out! I am still looking for a stronger trolling motor/battery in the swap section...that way I can have more thrust on her. She is heavy duty and she requires some power to push her along the water! Not bad for my first boat! 8-)
  7. Lol, i don't think I've ever heard somebody refer to Fredericksburg as "highly populated." ;D Well when you've lived there for 15 years (I have) and you remember how it was once a one traffic light road and then go to a 20+ traffic light area which takes you about 30 minutes to go 5 miles, I think you would get agrivated and move. Fredericksburg to me is highly populated because I've never been to a large city before. I am use to the country and I am not use to the agrivating traffic. Laugh if you must, but I hate Fredericksburg and I am glad we moved. I still regard Fredericksburg as a highly dense populated area. Hard to believe they are tearing down the woods that I enjoyed looking out in the morning on the bus to go to school and see deer just to build MORE shopping crap. Fredericksburg was peaceful and easy going once...now, traffic is horrible, shopping space is taking woods, and more people show up. I used to be able to go out in the mall, etc. and see almost everyone I knew, now...it's like I never be there before! I wouldn't doubt that Fredericksburg will grow and one day be a major city.
  8. Ditto! (well everyone can understand that lol) My worst phobia is...um....well shoot I dunno... ;D : :-/ But what I hate is driving in highly populated cities (like Fredericksburg) where there is a ton of crazy drivers who zip in and out of lanes!! And I hate ABSOLUTELY hate Naggers and Braggers! (even though I love to brag myself every now and then)...(even though this has nothing to do with the subject...) Seriously though, let me think... Spiders?...no, they are cool more than anything, except for jumping spiders, that leap from your wall and onto you, now that's different. Snakes?...No, same thing but I wouldn't want to be near a poisonous one! Small Spaces? No, I can pretty much fit anywhere with my skinny self lol! Heights?...like noted above I fear falling off and hurting myself, as long as I have a bar or something near me where I can hold onto, I am fine, but if I am up on a stand or building with nothing in the way, I get dizzy... Planes?...Nah! I love flying and looking out the window and looking at the ground! However after watching Final Destination, I kind of fear more about blowing up than crashing... That's about it... 8-)
  9. Look who's talking lol! ;D
  10. Thanks Bow! For those who might be interested we are holding a booth at the Richmond Speedway's Bass A' Rama's sportsman show Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I will personally be there Saturday all day long to help out my team, our club's president, Randy Beasley will also be there. If you check out our website, there's a calendar which states all our current and comming up events. For instance on the 4th of February, we are holding a tournament on the HOT SIDE of Lake Anna! Yes, the private site! Water temps will be at normal and the bass will hit all lures possibly! If you want to attend that tournament, you should apply to the club. We have special permission to attend the tournament because our Bass Club leader Mrs. Becky Gore has contacts and Lake Anna is our home lake to fish. If you are interested in joining pop me a PM, Email, meet me Saturday at the Bass A' Rama or meet or email Mrs. Gore via email or at the Bass A' Rama as well. This club is very enjoyable and there are many things to do to help out and there are plenty of benifits! The only thing that will probably get someone is the club membership fees (I collect due to I am the treasurer), which are $15 for being in the club and attending the local tournaments or $40 to attend the state wide tournaments which might bring you to the Jr. World Classic! If you are interested in joining (I will repeat) you can email or pm me and I can email you a copy or fax a copy of the membership enrollment form to join, you can talk or email Mrs. Becky Gore herself so she can do it. I am looking forward to any replies, pms, emails or to see anyone there at the Bass A' Rama event. Just find the OCHS Jr. Angler booth at the Rama and look for me; My name is John Jones (name is on my team shirt which is a tan shirt) I will of course be wearing the B.A.S.S member's hat, the team shirt, khaki pant, or ask for me... Looking forward to some members!! Would be more than happy to get more people into the club and meet you! God bless 8-)
  11. I've got adelphia highspeed and I too also notice it seems to be kind of slow... It takes about 10 seconds before a single page shows up, it might also be because there's a lot of disk space that has been taken up on my computer and my computer is taking longer time to load everything... I swear I need to delete some unneeded and unwanted programs that way the computer isn't so crammed with junk...that might speed it up... try and see if there is a lot of hard drive space taken up due to programs that you've downloaded onto your computer, if you have a crap load of programs loaded onto it, those 'junk' will certainly slow down your computer to some extent... Good luck 8-)
  12. All of these I can refer too... My family was actually born and raised in Louisianna, Dad and mom in Baker. I was born in Virginia and still reside. My dad came up here for the drywall business that he has been running for over 15 years. I've got a little bit of inheritance of Louisiannian heritage, but I am not 100% Louisiannian. I am proud of my southern ways and I love my grandparents (who now live in Louisianna; Grandpa was born in Texas, Grandma was born in Mississippi) and I love my parents! 8-) And I tell you the thing about those fire ants is not an exaggeration!! lol! My sister's husband was born here in Virginia and he never knew about how painful a fire ants bite was, so we went down to visit my paw-paw and grandmaw (here I go with the southern way ;D) and my sister's husband finally found out how well they bite lol! Here's a simple equation... 1 fire ant + 1 curious, brave and idiotic brother in law =

1 word.... OUCH!!!! My dad's .50 cal A&E desert eagle kicks pretty good, but dang not like that!! lol! My uncle went to the shooting range with his .44 mag, and everyone there was shooting little 9mm, .22 cals, all their shots were like pellet guns compared to my uncle's .44 mag and when he pulled that trigger a few heads turned and even a few people in the booths nearby jumped lol!!! ;D I can imagine shooting my dad's .50 cal at the gun range with everyone shooting 9mms and .22 cals. Everyone would get a great reaction lol! 8-)
  14. [move]C-O-L-T-S 8-)[/move]
  15. Bears 0 Colts 0 ;D : Just kidding! Colts 35 Bears 28
  16. LOL, and the Saints made the Bears seem like they had the best defense of all time!! ;D I am still upset that the Saints didn't make it but that's what they call football... I also root for the Colts!! 8-)
  17. Is anyone watching this game? It is pathetic! The saints got 3 fumbles in the 1st quarter and the Bears have 2 field goals and a touchdown! (Toal 16 points). The score is now 7/16, Saints finally got a touchdown near the end of the 2nd quarter, dad is now watching the 3rd quarter and I am upstairs on the computer, but I will watch the game afterwards. My grandpa got so upset that he called dad (he is watching the game too, he resides in Louisianna) and told dad that he changed the tv channel lol! I pray to god Saints pull it off in the end! They would be in the superbowl!! 8-)
  18. I think you need Macromedia Flash Player 7 or newer. I tried to upload it with a differnt server for you, but imageshack wouldn't exept the file format. It isn't anything really speacal, just a video me catching a big bass, and that happens all the time ;D LOL! I wanted to watch it that way I can see how the graphics are on the Wii. I've got a bass fishing game for x-box Rapala's Pro Bass Fishing game. It's pretty neat, biggest bass I caught on it was 10 pounds and I caught it out of Florida on a frog colored skitter pop. I think I've got Macromedia Flash Player...hmmm will have to check the computer... God bless 8-)
  19. Check here They've got really good things that you are looking for, jig heads, different sizes, skirt factory with tools and everything!! 8-) Good luck!
  20. I clicked on the screen and it popped up a new window where the video should be and I even kept the link on the screen and walked away for a little while and it still didn't show??? Does it require a certain player?? I would like to watch... God bless 8-)
  21. Here kitty, kitty, kitty! ;D Out in the open! 8-) Nice cam! 8-)
  22. I know that, but these skirts which I bought online where just plain colors. Check out www.lurecomponents.com and look at the "skirt factory". After all, I've already bought the skirt factory and made the skirts, there would be no point in going out and buying glittered skirts when I already have skirts and just need glue which is like $2 a bottle and glitter which I can buy at the dollar store. That way I can choose which glitter for a certain skirt. Besides, it is a lot more fun to make my own skirts and make different creations and use my imagination rather then buying a glittered skirt. It is also a whole lot fun to catch fish on a jig or lure that you made. I was just asking for suggestions on which color glitters to buy and what other things could I try to make my skirts more productive and/or look more "professional" (Which I know I won't achieve that lol). God bless 8-)
  23. I am thinking about buying some waterproof glue or fly head cement and sprinkling some glitter onto the jig skirts. I was thinking about buying silver, gold, charteruse, white, black, red and green glitter... Question #1: Would that work and would it be worth it? Question #2: What colors should I buy? Question #3: Besides adding glitter to the skirts of my jigs/spinnerbaits, what other things could I possibly add? (Ribbons, paint, etc.) Thanks 8-)
  24. BOOYAH! Funny name, serious baits! My favorite colors are the silver shad and the golden shad! they run around $3.99 each. Good luck! 8-)
  25. I am a member...BASS is better (personally mo) than FLW! 8-)
