  1. Yep, and I also have those casts that feel and seem PERFECT! And you are just anxious for a bass to nail it!

My mom met Ric Flair years ago in an airport. He was arguing to his wife on the phone when her sister (my aunt Pat) spotted him and he then hung up the phone and gave them autographs. My mom lost them lol! She's not a big fan of WWE and really neither am I... Now that I watch UFC, the WWE to me is nothing but a bunch of guys in tights dancing around in the ring yelling WOOOOOOO! ;D ;D ;D
  3. This takes my vote as #1:
  4. I agree 100% with everything said. And just like you muddy, I have made some mistakes on the forum that I learned from and at the time I seriously felt like I was being attacked and wanted to just leave, but I kept with the program and prayed everyone would forget it and so far things have been good. Despite people wanting to leave, I will always know that Glenn made this forum with a lot of work and that his positive intentions are always in mind. Which is why I would never leave, no matter what happens. But if someone really feels threatened, hurt or guilty I see no problem with them wanting to leave, it's their choice afterall, but I do agree that it would not be the best idea, and it just might hurt the other members as well. Excellent thread made Flechero!
  5. Here's an entire list! http://www.rinkworks.com/said/warnings.shtml My personal favorites; first better than last: 10.) "Warning: May contain small parts." -- On a frisbee. 9.) "Do not use for drying pets." -- In the manual for a microwave oven. 8.) "Do not use as ear plugs." -- On a package of silly putty. 7.) "Warning: has been found to cause cancer in laboratory mice." -- On a box of rat poison. 6.) "Caution: Remove infant before folding for storage." -- On a portable stroller. (common sense...) 5.) "Beware! To touch these wires is instant death. Anyone found doing so will be prosecuted." -- On a sign at a railroad station. (Prosecution?! :-? Talk about electrocution! ) 4.) "Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly." -- On a child sized Superman costume. (just ruined the kids imagination...) 3.) "Do not attempt to stop the blade with your hand." -- In the manual for a Swedish chainsaw. (what moron tried this??) 2.) "Warning! This is not underwear! Do not attempt to put in pants." -- On the packaging for a wristwatch. ;D ;D ;D ;D and my favorite from this list! 1.) "Do not use orally." -- On a toilet bowl cleaning brush. (Who would do this????) ;D ;D ;D :-?
  6. A true dink is whatever the size the individual fisherman defines it as. IMO, a dink is anything that: 1.) Skids across the water when I am reeling it in, 2.) Is only a few inches bigger than the lure I am using, 3.) Has a mouth that I can't even put one finger in it! In a tournament, a dink is defined as a fish that doesn't have a big affect on your total weight in the tournament.
  7. yeah he was a dink, but a bass is a bass right? Anyway, I finally worked out some magic and emailed my other two pictures of the 1st and second bass from this year. The pix were originally on my phone, but I managed to upload them... Here they are, the 1st bass was about a pound and a half and so far is the biggest of 08, but that will soon change! ;D 1st bass, caught with a rattle-trap 2nd Bass, caught with a chatterbait:
  8. try a chatter-bait or spinner-bait or something with great vibration, sometimes that coaxes strikes. Also try topwater, I got a bite today on a zara spook.
  9. Went down to the pond today and thew topwater. I was fishing in the feeder creek with a 4" Zara Spook when this little bugger nailed it and did a flip about a foot above the surface when he hit it! He was about 9-10 inches long. The first and the second bass pictures I have on my phone...and I don't know how to transfer images... But anyway, he's my third and I hope there will be many more!
  10. I use a worm hook when texas, and carolina rigging. I use a wide gap when rigging up a top water frog, fluke or jerkbait. For me it depends on what I am about to throw.
  11. Nope not an eastern thing, more of a southern thing to eat game meat.
  12. Hate to say it but #24 and #67 are the same lol! Good ones though! ;D
  13. Ahhh crap lol, I should have posted something like that...but Russ probably would have took me seriously ;D ;D ;D ;D : JP Russ!
  14. I enjoy them, even though their shows are in black and white, I still don't care. I enjoy Moe slapping Larry and Curley and Curley doing his laugh and noises! It's about the only B&W show I ever watch! ;D
  15. No sorry I don't but I thought it would be a neat and a helpful suggestion to try to improve bassresource even more. If I did I would team up with Glenn and help make it happen. But I am not too computer literate.
  16. I was thinking and I came up with a good idea that I don't think would be too much of a problem here on the board. In the User CP I think it would be a good idea to include a "Journal" feature. That way people can type their fishing reports, etc. in their journal so they can have a good journal accessible every time they log on. It would be easier than to carry a writing notepad on fishing trips and having to worry about bringing it, etc. All you do after a fishing trip is log on and go straight into your user CP and write in your journal. And it would be pretty neat if people had access to other's journals through clicking on the icon at the bottom of each post like where the email, website, etc. And that to protect journals for those that don't want people reading them, have an option in the user cp to "Block Viewers" to journal or something... If this idea won't work with the User CP, then I think it would be a good idea to create another topic under "Everything Else" and do a section specifically for journals so that people can start their own journals, that way other's can see too. If this was a better idea, I think if it is possible to prevent other people (somehow) from posting in each other's journals, but if not, then that's ok. What do you all think? Is it a good idea?
  17. Regular is $3.17 and Diesel (My dad owns one) is up to $3.78!! > here in Virginia. Like the other's say, we are definately going to hit $4 by summer...
  18. This is Jeff and Walter, this episode is hilarious!!! (Warning there is some minor cussing...and subjects that might be sensitive to some viewers...If this is too out of hand, please notify me and delete it, you have my permission). http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=3854631
  19. I enjoy the dinger. I perfer it for the price, and there's also some science to it (LPT). The senko to me is too expensive and the only additives are salt and garlic. So I would have to go with Dinger!

You are right you win some and loose some! At least you can't say you didn't try. The way I see it: It's better to be on the water and not catch anything than to sit at home and do nothing!
  21. I remember that game! Man I loved it!!! Now I got Rapala's Pro Fishing on my x-box. If I remember correctly the Blue Marlin and the Black Bass were both in one game. Just different features.... I think though I am not 100% sure. Great game though!
  22. Ummm..I am getting that the item is no longer listed....anyone else getting this?
