Cold water question
Reaction bites happen year round, regardless of water temp..........Sometimes a slow moving bait doesnt excite a bass into biting, but a crankbait zipping by is too much for them to handle and they whack it! ;D

Tube and Dropshot tech?
This is something I have done for a while. Why use one bait when you can use two! I usually put either a jig or a tube as the drop-shot "weight" and use a panic minnow up the line. This has worked very well for me. ;D

Slippery Rod Butts/Handles
I have Rod Wrap on ALL of my rods. I love it. It really helps with the slippery handles. I change the wrap every year and once a year seems to be plenty for me.......In some cases, i have left the rod wrap on for multiple years. just a preference I guess. I will not have a rod without rod wrap. As for the reels, I usually keep a towel in my back pocket and wipe off my hands and the reel now & then when fishing in the rain or wet conditions.......I dont know of any other way with the reels. ;D

Pork or Plastic
Well, I may be a little out of the "norm" here but I always use the plastic trailers.............I never use the pork ones(Uncle Josh for example). I have done just fine on the plastic version and feel no need to switch.................Warm or Cold water...............

ReelMech Book
Hey All.........I received ReelMech's book on servicing baitcasting reels in the mail yesterday. I have to tell you that this is probably the BEST deal for this kind of guide ever! It has all kinds of illustrations about servicing your reels and some top notch info on how to go about it and at a VERY reasonable price. I would HIGHLY recommend this to ANYONE wanting to service your own reels. Thank you so much ReelMech! It was better than I ever expected!!!! ;D ;D ;D
