My buddy and I have all but decided were going to Lake of the Ozarks in 2 weeks no matter what . Plus its only 1 month and 1 week till Lake Fork 8-)

Thats what I was thinking was to use it as a tool to help with fishfinder reading. I'd like to be able to say 100% yes that is a brush pile holding fish and mark it on my gps.

I had a 100 gift card for Cabelas so I got this. I fish on alot of clear lakes here in missouri so I thought it would work well. Just wondering if anyone here has any feedback. I'm a big fan of bass pro shops. Maybe because I'm from Missouri but also because I've never had a problem with them . I like cabelas too but Bass Pro always has what I need . Plus the new Bass Pro opens this Thursday 10 minutes from my house. My wife and i already made a deal . WE go to Bass Pro every friday night and then I go with her to get groceries.

Worked eight years for Delphi building AC Delco batteries and transferred to car plant when Delphi looked like it was going under. Been building Pontiac Gran Prix's , Chevy Malibus and the Saturn Aura for the last 8 years . 14 years till I'm living on Table Rock lake and hopefully working at the Bass Pro Shops in Branson.

My dad died when I was young so I learned alot from my grandfather. He was a no bs guy. He'd take me down to the river and we wade and he say "son there's a bass in that slack water and if yer worth a d**n you'll catch em". As I got older and I started catching more fish he about freaked when i started doing catch and release. First time he saw me throw back a two pound smallmouth he said "son we aint here cuz they are pretty were here cuz they taste good" He believed you should be eating ,working ,sleeping or trying to catch something to eat. Me and all my cousins could always count on every thanksgiving he would go to sleep and when he woke we'd be watching football and he'd get up and as he was walking out of the room he'd say "you know if they give all them big sumbitches there own ball they wouldnt all have to fight over that one". He died 4 years ago but when I go home to see the family I always get up and go wade that river and I guess I always will.

They had the new vette and camaro at our plant the other day got to sit in both 8-). I will very seriosly consider the camaro when it comes out. I just finished redecking and recarpeting my boat and was really getting anxious for spring fishing. Well my boss came out of team meeting Wednesday and told us they may put our plant on an emergency production plan where we work 12 hours a day 7 days a week for 90 days starting in March because the new Malibu is selling better than they planned. So I may not fish till June :'(

Played golf 3 days a week till I bought my boat in July of last year . Havent played since . I keep going in my back room and looking at $2500 worth of clubs and tryin to figure how many Ardent reels and Gloomis rods that is sitting there.

I think I have the perfect answer to this question. 1)Pick a reputable reel maker such as shimano,garcia,diawa 2)Stick with that reel maker 3)However much money you have to spend believe in your heart that your chosen company makes the best reel at that and every other price point.

Gotta be more specific. WE want BPS and Cabelas gift cards , the family would just screw up and buy stuff we dont want.

You get a letter from Bass Pro Shops saying to come in and get a new rewards card because you were in the top 10% of there customers for 2007 and you didn't buy a thing from them until July when you got your boat. :-[

Thanks Tom, I've been looking at your website and man you catch some big fish . Some of us may come back down for the fall race so maybe i can get out with you for a day then. Some guides up here mark maps for a fee have you ever considered doing this??

Was thinking of coming down Sunday with the warm weather . My question is are boat ramps iced in? Will we be able to get out to the main lake?

I hit the trim tilt up button in the front of the boat so the motor starts going up,my buddy freaks out and hits the tilt down button in the back of the boat. Burnt the motor out and only $600 to get a new one. Also have a story about getting pulled across table rock lake because of a kill switch incident but I come out real bad in that one :-[

Only thing I really boycott is low quality reels. Shimano ,Diawa stuff like that.
