I am in the middle of recarpeting my boat or I would have picked mine up today ......shipped to store too. FYI.......I will have an extra one that I was gonna return.....either the hedhunter or lip Rippa .......if you want to get for her give me a shout.

Gettin' there slowly but surely. Had to stop because needed to brace up some stuff while glue was driving. Back on it in the morning......still a bit of work though........forgot about the rod lockers when I ordered the carpet, but had enough. Wife said I should leave the old carpet in the rod lockers but that is Half-waying it.....couldn't do that. Here is where it sits tonight.

I can see it being a consideration 'if' you are constantly trading in your boat for a new one. I look at the resale value.....but that is at the bottom of my list and really is not a consideration for me as I am not one that can trade up every couple of years. I wish I had the financial abilty to buy a new boat and did consider it for a short time in the last year.............but I can not justify the expense of a new boat. I might buy another boat this year......but it will be a used boat. And the only reason I am going to buy another boat is that my current boat and have realized some things I do not like about it. (I want a single console boat) But in a nut shell..............I guess in my opinion you have to have money to worry about the resale value.

I cheated......I had my fiberglass guy repair the lid. He beefed it up..it is way stronger than it was....I was thinking about keeping in the house by the bed to use for self defense! But it was kind of in the way with all the guns, knives, baseball bats and flashlights. Will get it recarpeted with the boat recarpet project starting this weekend . Procrafter showed me how to rig and fish the dropshot at last years Road Trip. I have learned a lot about fishing by watching Glenn's videos. Here in Oklahoma, My Dad sparked the fire for fishing before he passed away when I was 6. Years later, in California, our kind neighbor Mr. Swanson is the man that taught me the basics of fishing.

I am only attempting to lure the back to my boat and allow them to jump into my soft sided net so I can give them a treat. I feel so awful and terrible when they accidentally get stuck with a hook. ROFLMAO

I agree with being careful about 'throwing' fish back.......you must watch that you are not 'throwing' fish onto anything like a rock, stump,ect. Be careful in shallow water too. But I see nothing wrong with tossing/dropping the in from 2 feet into a few feet of obstacle free water. Generally the smaller the fish the closer to the surface before releasing. But nothing from above 2 or so feet.

Pics are in my plans..........my problem is I always plan to take pics but once I get started I just work with my head down.......then remember "dang it, I was gonna take pics.' But with my wife helping me.......I will put her in charge of the pics............pics will get done for sure........and I will probably be yelling "put that dang camera down and hold this" or "if you worked for me I would have fired your already." Then make sure we eat out for a while and never let her 'fix' my plate or eat the first bite of anything for a month or so. It will all be ok.

No backups......everything I buy for individual use I have to buy 3 of.......1 for me, wife and son. Kills my pocket book. I bought 3 of the fish bones (Lip Rippa)and 1 of the camo. Wife thought son would want a camo (Hed Hunter).....but I thought the Lip Rippa was cool so I got an extra so he can pick. The other one will go back to BPS.
