  2. Actually he can.........after his fair share of the wine box.
  3. Hey pal. Have you used this setup much since installing? Do you feel it's in the way at all?
  4. We always have the," he ain't very accurate." Of these 117 predictions on record so far, Punxsutawney Phil has predicted an "early spring" 16 times (13.7%). As to his accuracy, according to the StormFax Weather Almanac and records kept since 1887, Phil's predictions have been correct 39% of the time.[4]
  5. To me all slips are wet.....covered or otherwise.
  6. I have this on all of my reels.......I love it.
  7. Take a peek at the fun had at last years roadtrip. You don't want to miss it! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/pickwick-lake-2013.html
  8. I have never been....but looking at googlemaps it appears that each cabin has a driveway......so I would think we could run an extension cord out to the boat without issue.
  9. AAAAAAAMMMMMEEEEEENNNNNN!!!!!!!
  10. I really hope you have a smoother trip this year buddy!
  11. This is very ugly. I have switched back to the Nat geo wild channel to watch the 1st annual Fish Bowl. Just a fishbowl on a table for 4 hours. And commercials. Oops. There goes the shut out Tom.
  12. NGW CHANNEL HAS A FISH BOWL. Nothing but a fish bowl on a table.......and commercials......4 hrs I think!
  13. Yes those are bonus checks for them......................and oh yes I overpay every year because I have travelled that other road of under payment once and it is a VERY bumpy road indeed!
  14. Great to hear Lee! Looking forward to seeing you again! Hope the weather is good and Nicole can make it too........but in the unfortunate instance that she does not accompany you......make sure you ask her if you can bring her hair spray!
  15. I used to own a 2008 2wd frontier .....avg mileage city/hwy was 18ish. Then bought a 2011 4x4 frontier with avg mileage 16ish. Now have a 2013 Titan 4x4 avg mileage is 12 city and 15 hwy. Nissan truck fuel economy SUCKS! But they do have a lot of power. I always want to have 4x4.......don't use it much.....but like to have it when needed and like it at the ramp. If you do not travel long distances.......my preference would be a vehicle with good fuel economy for daily driver and an old decent truck/SUV to tow boat on weekends. And an aluminum boat weighs less than the fiberglass. Just my .02 cents.
  16. Here is who I'm going to order from this week. http://www.bassboatseats.com/Bass-Boat-Carpet-Vinyl--C31.aspx I have no affiliation.
  17. Soooooooo........what you're saying is "EVERYTHING OUT OF THE BOAT"........is that right? I agree 100%!
  18. That's where the 'Entity' returns money to you that is already yours......and you're grateful!
  19. Well played........Gary.
  20. Tax return is perfect for covering the costs of the Bass Resource Road Trip! Forget those nasty 'ol bills, fences, car repairs and the like. Come have fun on the Road Trip this year! I'm afraid I have spent my refund about 10 times over in my head.
  21. A lot of the cost is in Glenn's post. (Below) I will let others post on what you should or shouldn't give the boater. Last year I neither asked for or expected anything.....anything would help I guess.....but there may be unspoken protocol that I am not aware of..........that was my first trip. $5 per provided meal......$15 ( 3 meals) $15 ish Banquet supper $15ish for supper at restaurant $whatever for breakfasts and lunches (you can take food and prepare those) $47/day for cabin $26 for fishing license I always factor 20% for unforeseen costs for food. Hope to see you there.
  22. Just like almost every story you see in the news regarding firearm.......a shooting , gun law or anything gun related.......is always illustrated with a picture of a semi-auto pistol or an AR/AK looking image. They just feed the peoples fears. I hate it! As a species.....we let that which we do not understand .....cause us fear.....instead of learning about it. We need more people to stand up when we recognize a threat and report it. I saw a story last night on the CBS evening about a mother that turned in her son when she realized he bought 2 AR-15 style weapons. He was going to go on a spree at Walmart or a theater. He has a history of mental illness and had been voluntarily admitted several times to mental facilities. Only for a few days and always discharged with different diagnosis. Since it was voluntary, no record to prevent gun purchase. In the interview the boy seemed like most teenagers....pretty well adjusted. When the reporter asked if he would do it, the boy answered there was a 50-50 chance at anytime.......and that he was fine while occupied but when alone or bored began to fantasize about it. That boy faces life in prison because be declined the judges offer to consider admission to a mental facility. KUDOS X10 for that mother......we all need to be like her. Even to the boy as I think he recognizes that he is a danger and his good side said no hospital......prison only. My prayers go to them.
  23. As of last year.......I use ONLY Siebert Outdoors jigs, shakey heads and weighted hooks. You guys have already said it.......great product, great price, great customer service ( both before and after the sale) and a great guy. Do yourself a favor and take a look at his site and place an order......you won't be disappointed.
  24. How big is it? Worth the drive from Tulsa?
