I've used 10\2 power pro for a few years now. With and without leader and like it very much. Recently I purchased some 20\6 power pro in hopes of catching a striper or two this spring. I have been out with it a few times and it seems to work just fine. I prefer 10 but if 20 is what you got go for it. Like the poster said above the 10 will cut you nice so always wrap something around your hand first before trying to break off.

If you look around you should be able to find both or at least the stradic for around 20% less than retail. If money is not an issue stradic would be my choice.

Sometimes I bring a folding canvas chair. It fits in a bag I can swing over my shoulder and has a cup holder. It's nice take take a seat once and awhile.

Little bent I can live with; though I usually put those on a jighead as opposed to weightless. Bent all to heck I will boil or put in the bag in a way that they straighten out a little bit.

X2 being a first year boat owner and currently dealing with the winter freeze and malls at Christmas time. I am totally missing taking in the experience of being on the water. Agreed. If I remember correctly the Saudis will not say how much oil they have in the ground. It could be 10 years worth it could be 500 years worth. I agree with the second paragraph. I throw black 90% of the time unless the water is super clear then a green of some sort. Two summers ago late in August when the bite would get alittle slow I would rotate between a white fluke and black senko. If I couldn't get something on either of those it was time to move on.

I just use a regular backpack; tried a tackle bag and found hopping from rock to rock the tackle bags momentum would throw off me off.

We'll now that my DSG no longer has them I've had some good luck on matzuo jerkbaits. For $3 bucks a pop you can't beat them. Some suspend good right out of the box some not so much. Doesn't really bother me for $3 a piece. They do have an extremely erratic action though.

I use mono and braid all in one! I don't know if it's the best but it works for me! Specifically 10lb power pro and 1lb suffix.
