Offset Round Bend 4/0 On A Beaver Style
I'm not a big fan of EWG hooks but for baits like the z craw ,structure bug or beavers I use them...some round bends just have enough bite for my taste.

Your Favorite Sqaurebill Setup?
I throw them on several set-ups but my favorite for squarebills is a older Team Daiwa green handle glass rod, A tatula 6:1 and 10 or 12 lb. flouro. As far as baits I like balsa and I'm partial to Dave's and Bass craft... I like good ol Gammy round bends , owners or Diaichi death traps.

Replacing Treble Hooks?
On the Red Fin you'll want a # 2 feathered on the back and either a 4 or 6 on the front.

G Loomis E6X Vs Dobyns Champion
If you are entertaining other options I would recomend looking at the zodias or KLX , both are more sensitive than the other 2 imho and in the same price range or less.. You metioned the ned rig ,I throw it a bunch here on Table Rock and the 7ft.ML Zodias is the best I've tried and I have been through a few .. Also the 6ft 10 medium casting rod is a great fluke, weightless worm, and spook rod. I also throw 3/8 oz. spinnerbaits on it.. I imagine it will make a good jerkbait rod when that times come back around....just food for thought..

P-Line Cxx Clear Fluorescent
It's what I use...Handles fine and shows up well under the black light..I usually use the 15lb.

Best Spinning Rod?
I like the cumara, Ive heard some rumours of a new cumara so there may be some deals to be had on the current models..time will tell. You may want to look at the Zodias, I have the 7ft. ML and its a great shakey head rod.I also use it for the ned rig and i think it will handle a 3/16 tube also...I think its equal to the cumara in sensitivity.

G Loomis E6X Vs Dobyns Champion
The champion isn't the flagship model. I think saying that saying Dobyns is the benchmark that bass rods are judged aginst is open to debate. ..

G Loomis E6X Vs Dobyns Champion
I used to fish the Champions Series a lot mostly the 703 and 704 as well as the 705 CB.I never thought they were the most sensitive rod out there but well made and great for moving baits. The only e6X I own is the dsr 820..Using that for comparison I think they are close in sensitivity, build quality is close on the ones ive handled.. If I had to choose between the two I would probably go with the loomis But thats based on personal preference not that one is head and shoulders above the other..

Straight Shank Vs. Wide Gap For Texas Rigging
straight shank any time I can..The only time I use a EWG is when the plastic would fill the gap, beavers brush hogs ect.

Looking At An E6X
I would think the 782 would be the way to go. The imx and glx versions were always great stickbait rods

Loomis Rod Power
Agree, I have the 820 ,I use it mostly as a ned rig rod but 1/4 oz is no problem, I believe it would fish a 3/16 shakey head well also. It has a suprising amount of power ..

Wake Bait Additions/modifications
I've heated the bills on red fins as a last resort, if that doesn't work, in the trash they go.
-
Wake Bait Additions/modifications
I add 3 or 4 suspend dots in front of the joint on the red fin to keep it from diving ,also add a feathered treble on the back and hope for the best.

Sure would.. I'd like to hear how the MB runs...

Megabass Wiggle Wart?
I think it's a regional thing. Since I live on Table Rock I may be more inclined to spend the money on a pre rap wart than others. Personally I don't think anyone has ever duplicated the old wart.. The good news is I don't lose them very often , I think I've broke off one in the last couple years so even if I pay a premium for a good color or have Tim Hughes or Fall Creek customs paint one it's still worth it to me . I've heard the predator blank is about the closest to the pre rap yet...

Wiggle Warts Question
I throw them on 8 .lb. flouro..they'll run about 8 ft.

Wiggle Warts Question
Here on Table Rock I look for the transitions from bigger rock down to football size or smaller, also the bluff ends. I try to find water with some stain in it, around here thats usually up the rivers and creeks.. I want it grinding on the bottom and not a steep bank.. I run the boat parallel to the bank and cast out front, not much angle... Dave Barker is one of the best wart fisherman in the Ozarks , he has a video on you tube ,pay attention to how he pulls the bait along with the rod tip and reels the slack..
