  1. The few times i ever eat bass they are cut into chunks and deep fried or pan fried. bass are pretty good eatin but catfish and bream are way better
  2. uhhhh about 10 ft, you could say i dont fish deep water very much
  3. I just carry the cheap pliers that i replace when they crap out on me. For cutting braid i just use my pocket knife that i carry everywhere with me.
  4. Oh no, not loomis too. Come on people, stop the selling out
  5. Never use a leader with my 50 lb power pro and havent had an issue spooking fish. Gotta keep in mind that i do 90% of my fishing in chocolate milk colored water, 5 inches of visibility is the max
  6. 50 lb power pro is what i use mainly. It takes some getting used to but after that its wonderful and i know for sure that there isnt a fish thats gonna break my line
  7. Ive also experienced this in similar ponds. The fish seem to fight unnaturally hard for how big they are. I have no clue what causes it
  8. I have problems with the big ole turtles eatin half of the worm off of my texas rig. Ill cast it out, see the turtle surface and he goes down, line twitches and i reel in half of a worm. I have never heard of bass using turtles to their advantage, i always figured they would avoid the big ones at all costs
  9. I love mine, super sensitive and light. Not to mention down right sexy
  10. Anything five finger death punch, disturbed, or metallica. Any metal or hard rock does it for me.
  11. Ahhh nice frankenstein head bluegills, cant beat em on light gear!
  12. It sounds like a good recipe but what is one pouch of copenhagen gonna do, unless you mean the whole can?
  13. Gotta love it when kids love fishin. I just wish i couldve gone fishin with my grandpa before he passed. Keep them kids fishin!
  14. my dad catches em all the time on 4 inch trick worms in green pumpkin magic and some sort of other brighter orange color.
  15. no experience with the powell, but i absolutely love my micro magic!
  16. Ive been fishin since i was old enough to hold a rod thanks to my dad. Ive been his fishin partner ever since i first started. I really dont even want to think of the day when he is no longer able to fish
  17. down here in georgia where im at, the nearest bass pro is about 3 hours. The walmart closest to me has 4 large aisles of nothing but fishing stuff. at the dsg closest to me, a quarter of the store is all fishing stuff and they really dont carry much low quality stuff.
  18. Call me crazy but I have been catching fish in the middle of the day (90 degrees+) on small shallow diving crankbaits. Specifically the mid size rebel jerkbaits straight reeled about 10 feet from the shore line. Theyve been pretty small but fish are fish.
  19. I get it all the time, i love it. Just means your catchin a bunch of fish! Some fish will have more teeth depending on their diet. If they eat a lot of crawdads it grinds down their teeth and they dont tear you up as bad. I have a buddy that has a pond behind his house where there are almost no crawfish and they have some huge teeth on em. It just comes with the territory of bass fishin. If you dont want em tearin you up, i have seen some pros put duct tape on their thumbs

I do believe i have seen a few. The most memorable being when i was out feeding the goats and horses at around midnight with my dad. We were looking at the sky because the stars were very bright that night when some kind of aircraft with VERY bright lights flew over going ridiculously fast and then just sort of seemed to warp out after stopping for a few seconds. My dad and i both looked at each other and exchanged a "what the $#@$ was that?" At that same house we have had quite a few paranormal experience but thats a totally different thing.
  21. I like bostons, but ill take my jack russells over them any day
  22. Crap-pie, the way its supposed to be said. If you say croppie around here youll get all sorts of funny looks
  23. Thats one hell of a fish man! congrats!
  24. After a hook set i say i usually "got one" or "there he is". Terms for the actual hookset, ive always liked "cross their eyes", "whack em" and " lay the lumber"
  25. A snake on a ribbon tail worm, a bucket, and an old boot on a square bill
