  1. I dont fish a single lake with visibility over 8 inches and just about everything works for me at the right time. The fish here really seem to like double color worms (red shad, tequila sunrise, crawdad) and any watermelon variation. 7.5-10 inch ribbon tails seem to work better over trickworm/straight tail. To be honest i havent really ever noticed a huge difference in clear water vs muddy water but around me visibility over 16 inches is clear water
  2. I have learned a ridiculous amount from here, but the most useful would have to be how to take a hook out of a gut hooked fish through the gills without really hurting the fish or leaving a hook in em.
  3. If i need something, i usually hold the fish in the water while i have a buddy bring it to me or while im trying to get the camera out of my pocket. Havent had any die from just being out of the water too long and not many from gut hooks after i learned how to take it out through the gills.
  4. I dont even take chances when i run into walmart to get a drink, always leave some one in the truck with the windows (usually my 6'3" buddy, only one guy has even gotten close to the truck) I play lacrosse and have had a guy pick up one of my sticks at a tourney and try to walk off. needless to say he didnt get too far before he got what he had comin.
  5. With t rigged worms i have been known to really whack em on the hookset and i dont hardly miss any fish doin it so thats just what i do. My hookset with jigs and texas rigs is exactly the same, but i struggle with hooksets on cranks and other moving baits.
  6. Sleighing some pigs in new york. Nice fish but i think my ears might be bleeding
  7. As a kayak fisherman i experience this all the time. The worst being when i was at my local lake in my kayak fishing the bank along a golf course. All of the sudden i hear "look out kayaker!" in a very sarcastic tone as a golf ball hits about 3 feet in front of me. He then goes to yelling at me saying " you cant be here, you gotta leave"(keep in mind a public lake). So i tell him that its a public lake and i can fish here if i want to. So he hits another golf ball at me. By that point my dad had made his way over there and i had kept calm but my dad had no part in that. He beaches his yak, walks over to the guy and exchanges a few choice with the guy before the guy ( bout 6' and maybe 150) decides to back down to my midget dad (5'8 180) Made me laugh after that and we havent had any interaction with golfers since except for the occasional "catch anything?" Not tryin to thread jack, just had to share my story. People really are inconsiderate and it sickens me. Im only 16 and i already hate people in general. Something just aint right with these folks
  8. Without a doubt one of the best edited fishing videos ive ever seen. Really like it.
  9. I use the same method with long, snake like worms trying to mimick a snake goin into the water at my buddies pond. Well one day i throw my worm in the mud by the bank and go to swim it in and a snake gets a hold of my worm and wont let go no matter how hard i pull. So i paddle over there (in my kayak) and see this about 2.5 ft long water moccasin holding on to the body of my worm and refusing to let go. so i lift him up with my rod and hit with paddle until he let go. Bout made me pee my pants
  10. Im only 16 but was raised up right. Had to pick my own switches when i did something wrong. Not all kids these days are like that. I was raised to only respect those that deserve it and i have disrespected adults that did not deserve it. Call it wrong but thats how i am. But i know one thing, I would be more than happy to whoop those kids for you. People like that disgust me
  11. Looks like she could go well over five if she was fatter! Great fish!
  12. I usually will have some music on while im fishing. i prefer country or metal like pantera, metallica, five finger death punch.
  13. 6-7 pounds, mid day in the fall on a popper. the one in my avi pic
  14. I cant really speak for the PQ or johnny morris but i absolutely love my revo s. Super smooth and very easy to use.
  15. Hey guys, so a buddy of mine (chasingbass) recently bought a lake house and we found a shopping bag full of old plastic worms. A couple of which have been working very well for me recently. Ive found the right color in Culprit (crawdad) but i would like to find the original worm. Any one know where i can get a hold of some Gill raker worms?
  16. Same song, sends a pretty clear message to the other competitors lol
  17. I really like the ones i got from the survey so i bought some more. I have replaced my gammys with owners and trokars and havent looked back
  18. I usually just poke it out with a tooth pick and run the line through my finger when im reeling in.
  19. i know getting my kayak opened up a whole new world of fishing for me. best 300 bucks i ever spent
  20. nice fish but it looks like thats a white bass or small hybrid. dont look like any crappie we got around here lol
  21. Id say get yourself a good barn cat, one born on an actual farm and taught how to hunt by their mom. My cats are that way and kill em all the time. What kind of dogs do you have? i know my lab, viesla and jack russel kill one every now and then.
  22. We dont play here either, in my town it is required by law that every home have a gun and sufficient ammunition. Yall might go first, but we would be right behind. If i remember correctly i saw we passed some kind of law that said we would follow our own gun laws rather than any passed by the federal government.
  23. i wanna fish for snake head for no other reason than the aggresive blow ups and i get to hit em with a bat
  24. What a fish! i wouldve ticked my pants seein that much color comin at me!
  25. They should be coming down back to normal here soon. But I never really worry too much about any of the gun laws, knowing that they will never pass in georgia. I strongly believe that we will secede again before we give up our guns.
