  1. It has been unseasonably cool here in georgia. Its been a high of 70 degrees and low of 60 the past few days. I hope this isnt any indication of winter temps this year
  2. Isnt that 6 inch lift and pro comp wheels with nitto mud grapplers just calling your name?
  3. Im only 16 so i have no experience in parenting (thank god) but i can actually remember what worked for me when i went through that phase. I had a "monster stick" or some crap like that. Basically it was a stick that i was told can beat down the monsters. Made me feel secure when i was scared. i dont know your son but i know i was that kid that liked the idea of being able to defeat what scared me rather than run away. Another thing that helped was having my dog in the room, from when i was born my dogs always protected the house with everything they had and i liked the idea of having something that would protect me in the room with me. Hope i helped in some way
  4. That would be a scary fish, imagine a 10lb + cichlid
  5. 7 foot? you might wanna get that checked out
  6. Lots of crankbaits and texas rigs for good stuff, also a pair of nice plyers. I fish a lot of electric motor only lakes in my kayak where most people back fish so i pick up a lot of bobber, abandoned limb lines and pick as much line out of the tree as i can. Seems like every time i go out it has multiplied
  7. Watermelon red trickworm rigged on an aberdeen baitholder hook back when i was about 10. Been hooked on worm fishin ever since. I dont really get away from a texas rig very often
  8. Texas rig on straight braid is my go to technique. I have found that the most important thing in a texas rig is the rate of fall. I switch the size of weight i use until i find out what they want that day. I have also found that a texas rig can cover most every scenario you need be it jiggin the worm or swimming or reeling it on topwater. I really dont switch too much from my texas rigs
  9. Any soft plastic texas rigged or raged rigged. I can do pretty much everything i ever need to do with em
  10. It aint just a southern thing, although it does seem like most of the women in the north have one hell of a mouth on em. Weird you mention orlando wilson, my grandfather was really good friends with him and fished with him all the time.
  11. Winter in Georgia involves sweatshirts and jeans. People here freak out when it gets below 25
  12. you can also see his reel in the water
  13. Great video, and i think we have the same vocabulary when we catch a good fish
  14. As already stated thats hydrilla. I dont know how that lake is but one of the lakes i fish around here is so choked out in the summer its not possible to fish. Just wait til winter
  15. we definitely dont drive the same kind of vehicles lol but i love braid, use it on all my rods
  16. Cant beat those little rebel cranks, i have a garage full of gear and they still come with me every trip
  17. i would assume some kind of other additive they used to mimic salt
  18. i like all types of fish served any way, i have been known to catch a mess of bream or catfish and fry em up
  19. I have most of the things i find to be a necessity when fishin with me at all times any way. Phone, wallet, knife, needle nose and copenhagen.
  20. An f150 super crew would suit all your needs here. Plenty of towing capability and room for your family
  21. Im gonna go on the upper side here and say 6 if not more, she looks VERY thick
  22. I refuse to fish Allatoona, or as its known around here "the dead sea". Completely filled with ski boats and bucket fisherman. There is almost no vegitation in the lake at all and by noon its choppier than any ocean ive ever been on. There are other ponds that i refuse to fish but theyre the trashed out park lakes that have almost zero fish in them
  23. well im gonna have to do this now
  24. Those are really cool but like you said. for 43k i can get several nice quads and skis
  25. Never been confronted by any vegan tree huggin hippies, but to be honest i dont think theres too many down here in georgia
