I Caught A Fish On This?!
Some hardbaits just have that "it" factor. No tellin what it might be, i have a chug bug that i just cant replicate no matter how many of the same color i buy. I dont really recall ever being super surprised to catch a fish on a certain lure but i have been amazed at the size of fish that will hit big lures. Once caught an about 7 inch bass on a 12 inch worm. Greedy little critters

Some Questions About Stripers
Thanks for the replies guys. I normally catfish off of the dock at night to catch some dinner for the next day. There are always a bunch of schools of bait fish busting a little ways off the dock and all around it. Never thought much of it until i saw the huge striper eating the crappie, now i just cant resist targeting them. Ill try tossing a fluke at the bait balls, i figure thats my best chance. Im fishin on lake sinclair, so i dont know if i could keep the cats from eating a liver or cut bait long enough for the stripers to find it. I've also heard that a big shad under a bobber works pretty well. any experience with that?

Some Questions About Stripers
Alright guys, as the title says ive got some questions about striped bass. I was at the lake the other day andsaw some huge topwater blow ups and im thinkin this isnt a normal bass. In this particular cove there are always dead slab crappie. (no idea why) But i see one and it all of the sudden goes under water and pops back up a second later. Then i see a pretty big striper up at the top trying to eat. Are stripers scavengers like catfish? any idea on how to catch them off the dock?

Help Me Think About This.
Thank you for such an informative and in depth response My grandfather may have had the same condition as you but he was too stubborn to go to a doctor and eventually just accepted not being able to see. I would imagine having fairly normal vision as a teen really helps a lot now. Sounds like youre doin alright at the moment, compared to what it could be. I wish you the best, they need to get on that research, theres more bass in need of lip piercings

Help Me Think About This.
Its great that youre out fishing but just out of curiosity, no disrespect intended, how do you know where to cast and such? I am just genuinely curious as i have never heard of a blind man fishing.

Snake In The House
We had a chipmunk get in the house the other day when my mom left the door open to let the dogs go in and out as they please. Got under a tarp in her room that we had put a newly painted desk. The jack russel made very short work of it, just a few squeaks until it was utterly obliterated.

Chipmunks
Ive never personally eaten one but ive heard theyre pretty good and my dogs and cats sure do like em. I cant really think of much to do with the pelts aside from just hangin em on the wall in your man cave for decoration. You might could stitch a few of em together and make a reel cover?

Thumb Itching After Handling Large Bass?
Never had my thumb itself itch but i have had my fingers after removing the hooks through the gills of gut hooked fish (fish almost always survive). Its got something to do with the slime and your skin being broken. Dont bother me too bad so i dont pay much attention to it. But i do love it when your thumb gets all torn up after catchin a bunch of fish

T Rig Vs Shakey Head??
I mainly use a texas rig for almost every worm. I only use a shakey head if ive already tried working the t-rig in every possible way and i feel like i need that worm to stand up to really get a good bite.

Lightweight, Summertime Rainwear
