  1. How deep was the fish caught? 2-3ft Did the lure contain rattles or have hinges? No Was the lure a natural color (brown, green) or was it an unnatural color (chartreuse, orange)? Original ScumFrog White/Green If possible, what moon phase was your PB caught during? No idea. 1st or 2nd week in September 2007
  2. I know that. I also want you to be able to catch a few. even though you raised a packer fan...
  3. I don't keep my boat down here so my options are limited. I don't care fore shore fishing especially around here. Probably end of summer and fall ill see if I can snag a smallie or 2 from the Fox.
  4. Ditto. In Streamwood too, but most of my fishing is done up in Wisconsin. Welcome to the boards.
  5. What a tank! Way to go.
  6. Posted a report from 2 weeks ago in reports section. Pics and video. I'm headed up tomorrow, fishing Lake Puckaway on Saturday. Ill report back on Sunday or Monday.
  7. That makes sense. Never seen tipups like that. Just the bridge kind. I'm not big on hard water fishing.
  8. I'd second that.
  9. You can get a 100 yds of Power Pro for ~$13.00 to do the job. But as stated, if it's working for you then keep doing it.
  10. Man o man Dwight. Those are some beautiful fish.
  11. Way to go man. Glad to see you figured it out. ENJOY!

There are dozens upon dozens of mfg that make wakebaits. It's in a category of its own as it's not really considered a topwater. If you go to tackle warehouse and search out wakebaits you will find a number of different options. They make both large and small wakebaits. Jointed wakebaits...etc.. Your description would need to be followed with an actual photo to ID it because there are just too many baits out there that reflect the same design you describe.
  13. Good day on the water! Congrats man.
  14. This means you don't know what the costs are. It's an assumption. Exactly what I stated before. I'm not hear to argue so I'll leave it at that.
  15. Your post is completely inaccurate. Being a business owner, I'm aware of lawyer fees and everything else associated with running a business. With that said, your "assumptions" have zero credibility considering you started your post with "I'm sure...". That means you don't know....so don't assume. Back to the topic, the Koppers bait is in a 3 dimensional mold. It's not painted. That is the major difference between the "original" designer and what Koppers has produced. They took it a step further than a paint job. Look at the isles at Bass Pro or wherever you shop. EVERYTHING is some sort of copy or rendition of something else already done whether it was last years innovation or 50 years ago. There are literally 1000's of the same type of bait with different labels, colors, scents to make them "original" or "unique". If you think you have a million dollar idea, you best get it patented and protected. Even if you don't have the funds to do it yourself, someone out there will BUY your idea.
  16. There are already comments of people saying LiveTarget stole this idea from so and so. Well if it is a stolen idea, why didn't the originator get it patented and licensed? It's the same locker room gossip every year. This new baitball is a neat concept, but nothing WOW's me about it. I love LiveTarget from cranks to frogs. I think they make amazing stuff. I'll be interested to see what else they have but this isn't a game changer in my eyes.

He failed to mention that all the shootings as of late are in the ghettos and gang related. These are the last people to consider ccw however they may think twice now about sticking a gun in someones face. Those shootings will never stop so it doesn't matter. What matters is that responsible gun owner's can protect themselves and possibly prevent murderous crimes from these same thugs. Its about d**n time.
  18. I'd have to agree with 38. I'd rather fish a fluke, punch a 1 oz bait, or frog it. I could fish frogs forever...that I have no objection to.
  19. Pretty neat. Something for the glass showcase. http://www.fieldandstream.com/blogs/lateral-line/2013/07/oooh-barra-barracuda?src=SOC&dom=fb
  20. Thanks man I appreciate. More to come in the future. Heading up north again this weekend so we'll see what we can put together. Thanks for watching.
  21. If I'm not flipping a rage product this is next in line. Nice bait with good action.
  22. I have a video in the reports section under punchin and froggin. You can see some of my hooksets on frogs. You can check frog turds videos too. He's another froggin magician.
  23. Your gear is ideal for frog fishing. You're probably setting the hook too soon, or too late. Once you get the timing thing down it's second nature and you will see a massive increase on your hook ups and landing. The only thing I can say that might help is try bending your hooks up slightly off the frogs back. I personally don't do this, but it does help for some. keep at it, you'll figure it out. Good luck If you're fishing pike infested waters...the snakey ones are terrible at taking frogs in. So there is a chance that a lot of your misses are actual pike and not bass.
  24. What gear are you using to throw frogs with? ie: Rod, reel, line?
