  1. After a quick search...not a whole lot. $15-$40 bucks.
  2. For me......all my craws are fished with some sort of weight whether t-rig, jig trailer, shakey head etc... Craws live on the bottom so that is where you need to be with it.
  3. Congrats! I'm a father to identical twin boys. It is an absolute blast.
  4. Nice man. Beautiful smallies!
  5. Nice fish Jeff. Way to go!
  6. Sharpen your hooks. Jigs take abuse especially around rock and wood. Keep your hooks like needles. Dull hooks=poor hooksets=lost fish. I fish with braid too as it gives the best feel in my hands. Fluoro leader if I'm in lots of rock and wood.
  7. Frogs and hollow belly swimbaits all day long. Nice spot
  8. Carpet decal material raw is expensive. Therefore making the finished decals expensive. Size also plays a part in that.
  9. Lower trajectory casts will help. Try not to cast directly over your head, especially with spinnerbaits.
  10. Awesome pics! You sure know how to catch em!
  11. ...Your bar of soap in the shower is made of metal.
  12. No offense but if braid and Palomar are failing you, you're not tying it right. I've yanked tree limbs down using 8lb braid. Maybe practice a little more tying knots. Plenty of videos out there to show correct knot tying.
  13. No not at all, I just prefer stronger lines and Fluoro sinks. I only use mono for jerkbait and treble top water baits. I use braid on 80% of my set ups.
  14. I use 12-15lb Fluoro and tie with a San Diego Jam knot. YouTube the knot, it is really easy to tie and very durable.
  15. Dark baits create a dark silhouette when visibility is tough. Keep it and use it. It should be helpful down the road to you.
  16. Thanks man. I look forward to making more videos soon. The fish was 21" but long and slender. I was surprised at the weight. Thought it was over 5 easy but hey it was a great fight and a beautiful fish. I'll take it any day.
  17. If that upgrade is $450 as stated, I think I'd rather just get a better trolling motor all together. The TM is a workhorse, however I would like some of the bells and whistles offered on the current Terrova/Maxxum models. But then I'm looking at another 1K+ No Auto. Just footpedal steering at the moment.
  18. Drop shot is new to me. I haven't really explored it thoroughly yet. Fishing very slow in general is tough. I'm a power fisherman and I like to cover a lot of water. I have been seeing this year if I slow down and dissect areas a little more, I'm pulling out more fish so that is a good thing.
  19. Sweet man. Congrats on a great day!
  20. Wish I could join you! Good luck and thanks for watching!
  21. I have an old Dell from when vista just hit the market. Back then it was lightning fast, today its a joke. Had I taken more time I could have made this a bit better and fixed some errors. I'm going to be getting a new pc for work soon so I'm going big to get a nice editing pc. I agree having videos is a lot of fun. I like to see the strikes and hooksets. But windows movie maker and Cineform aint going to cut it. I need more power! Regarding YouTube, I thought you could loop yhe music tracks but couldn't figure it out. Ill look into that more. Frog if we're ever in the same neck of the woods a slop fest froggin adventure will be a must. Thanks for watching everyone. Its only the beginning.
  22. Here is the video I put together. It's a little lengthy and could use some severe editing but my laptop is ancient and it was frustrating enough to put this together.

Fish it first before you modify it. Once you start removing things...you can't undo it so learn the bait before you modify it. That goes with a lot of things, not just frogs. Most frogs I used, I don't even need to modify it. Once in a great while i'll trim the legs but I just don't see it as necessary as people make it out to be.
