Try using the GoPro Cineform software just to convert them. See if they work. You've already done video before correct? So it was working and suddenly stopped now. Not sure what to make of that unless you deleted codecs some how.

Yea. Last time I was at Cabelas the guy told me the Springfield Armory handguns have been on backorder for over 8 months. They get in "surprise" packages meaning they have no idea what they're getting sent in. Little strange if you ask me. Anyway, if our great state of IL (sarcasm) sets some laws and gets this CCW going, this was my gun of choice. I originally wanted the full length all black XDM .45 but if I'm going to buy a handgun might as well be something for CC. My brother has the XDM .45 in Bitone and it's a sweet gun.

Is everyone using EWG hooks or anyone using straight worm shanks or different for that matter? Ewg seems to be most common. I'm going to toy with this rig in a couple weeks for the first time.

Sorry to hear of your experience. Probably just a bad spool. I've been playing with Trilene Armor Coated and its pretty good. Very strong for a mono and it casts like a dream. Rarely do I use mono, I'm mostly a braid guy but have mono and fc ob some dedicated rods.

If the sd card is corrupt you're likely sol. Can you copy and paste the exact error?

If you search Fleabay, you can find both of those brands in almost new condition for well under retail. I nabbed 3 reels from Ebay this winter and saved probably around $150+ between them if I just paid retail brand new. Clayton traded me a Citica 200E and it's a fantastic reel.

I didn't say they were bad or good by my own experience. Maybe it's inexperienced fishermen using them. All I know is between the rods and reels there are far too many complaints in yhis community. I wasn't turning this into the shimano vs everything. Simply offering an alternative that rarely ever has any negative reviews.

Belly color is more important to me than top. I like white or yellow in the day light and black/brown/purple in low light or dark. I like Live Target and KVD sexy frogs. Caught a million on both and I can cast them a mile.

Look at a Citica or Curado as an alternative. Set it and forget it brakes. You will be pleased, I promise. If your budget allows then definitely a Chronarch. There are a lot of complaint s on this forum regarding newer abu reels. Just an observation.

Try a Heddon tiny torpedo. Those things are killer on smallies. Usually if you just hover it over a spot you know thats holding, the slightest twitch will make them explode on it.

What gear are you throwing cranks on? Often I see people throwing cranks on braid and a big stout rod and the problem is they're tearing out the hooks on the set. This may be known already, but you don't have to swing for the fences with cranks. A nice steady sweep sideways is the best way to set the hook and maintain that pressure. I recommend a glass rod or a medium action graphite if you don't like glass. You also may be just getting the defensive strikes that are meant to stun the prey. Changing color and or speed/cadence can help. Or plainly, you might have just had bad hook ups. Not everything is guranteed, thats why fishing is great. It's always a challenge!

I have my 50E that I use on a rod for jerkbaits and topwater. Love it and definitely will buy another down the road. I typically use 2 or 3 brakes on mine depending on the weight. I haven't even done a clean and flush on this reel yet as it was brand new the beginning of this season. I'm sure once I do that, it'll be even that much more awesome. Enjoy your new reel Darren. What size split ring do you use? I tried to make a few with what I have and my rings were too big to pass freely in th he eyelet of the hook.

Without upgrading to a premium cable package you won't get much. WFN, Outdoor Channel, and Sportsman Channel all have the most of the fishing shows. All of which are only offered in upper levels of cable tv packages. I think you'll have to take the plunge or resort to finding them online some where.
