Loading a kayak on a small car is a piece of cake. it is all about he balance of the boat really. I have a wrangler with a roof rack which is taller than i am so it is a little more challenging but still more than manageable. The hullavator is pretty sweet though if you want to go big my dad had one and that thing was pretty sweet.

not sure if that is accurate since the rod you purchased has a lifetime warranty...not a lifetime warranty until you replace it with a model that has a one year warranty. I know craftsman had a similar issue way back in the day. As everyone knows they have that lifetime warranty and many people were buying their tin snips that are used for siding and when they wore out they were replaced. They got smart and changed them up to Sears brand instead but if you had proof that they were originally Craftsman they honored the warranty with the Sears branded merchandise. On a side note, I was going to try out a Shimano rod for a new jig rod and a big reason was the warranty and my local shop carries them but i may rethink that idea.

While Jeter is an above average player he is not a superstar other than longevity and playing on the Yankees. I used to like the guy but in the 2011 season (I think) when he said he was skipping the all star game because he was mentally tired after chasing 3,000 hits I lost a lot of respect for him because he thought he was bigger than the game. Defensively he is average at best. Sorry to derail here a little but i am a little bent still that all the hoopla around him was given and not even a peep about Tony Gwynn....

I would guess if there is a serial number on the rod it would be easy to tell what year the rod was manufactured. where it would get dicey is if an older rod is warrantied for a near version but the lifetime warranty should carry over but without proof it might be a challenge

Had to take almost two weeks off due to tweaking my back but I did get out today. Like i said, it is because you want to fish for something that isn't there. Do you have studies to show that native fish decline is not from non-native sport fish? I do realize that habit alteration is a big component but non-native fish scan also contribute to the habitat changing. I know of a few examples like in the sierras they brought in brook trout and they all but wiped out the native species do to their prolific breeding and aggressive nature. Unfortunately where you live in Colorado bass fishing is not as good but you sure live near some outstanding trout fishing.

They have 4 and maybe 5 if the Sixers make the playoffs next year but i highly doubt that will happen. So really they are just doing the same thing the Sixers are already one year into doing except the Sixers are a year ahead. I am still not sold on this dude they drafted who is playing overseas for two years and Embiid and his health is pretty important too. I would love to see the Celtics Sixers rivalry brought back to life by teams that are built not bought like the last Celtics championship team.

Yeah last I checked a name change wasn't in the works and they are in much better shape than the Celtics (assumption on my part that you are a Celtics fan based on NH in your location)

Two years from now the sixers will be hardcore contenders and will probably land one of the big time free agents like KD. They are primed to make a run for a long time

So really it is more that you don't agree with them and want bass? Just because anglers want something to fish for doesn't mean it should be done at the expensive of what you consider to be trash fish. I am all for protecting a native fish population even if it isn't one that i target because it is still part of the ecosystem and there are plenty of things that have been screwed up because nobody was thinking it will be an impact. If they want to keep the "trash" fish then so be it and I will log find somewhere else to fish.

I am in the market for a new PFD and am debating on getting an inflatable version. My only concern would be carrying a recharge kit with me in case i flip and how much time and hassle it is to recharge on the water. Also I have no idea if they last a certain amount of time before you should set them off or if they won't go off if they sit still for a certain amount of time and if they break down over time with non use etc....i don't think i would use one on a river trip but there is the possibility on lake trips.

Not all bass in a lake spawn at the same time so it is possible this was a second wave of bass that were spawning. I fish a small pond that i have seen bass spawning over a period of about a month in the same areas. I know they are not the same fish because i caught a few of them and they were different sizes. It could also be them chasing baitfish like was already mentioned.

I am adopted and have been with my parents since i was about a year old. Many times my parents asked me if i wanted to meet my biological father or mother and i never did nor did I want to meet them. I was never bitter about it but to me why should i want to meet them, i mean it would be like meeting another person for the first time. they didn't raise me, all they did was have sex and get pregnant. Fasat forward to about 5 years ago. My mom and dad still stayed in contact with my biological parents from time to time to help them out etc...and my mom called me to say that my biological father had died. When i heard the news i felt like i should be upset but i wasn't in the slightest bit. You may be wondering why I am saying all of this but it is to say do what your heart tells you that is right. For me, meeting my biological parents would mean nothing but to you there is something there that you would obviously regret if you didn't make it happen.

Well my thing is those cradles are not designed for a moving vehicle and the forces encountered. How wide is your trailer? and do you have a pic? i am having a tough time visualizing what you are describing. And i doubt anyone would steal the j cradles but anything can happen. I used to have J cradles on my subaru and they could be removed in about 2 minutes with no tools and i never had them stolen. Is it not possible to just stand them all up on their side for transporting one next to the other?

Also, if you have the funds available, get yourself a P90x or insanity workout set of DVDs. They are designed to be done at home and the results are incredible if you actually do the workout plan and follow the nutrition plan.

you won't lose weight or get in shape by fishing, it just isn't enough of a cardio or a strength training workout to change your physiology. I would go get a pull up bar that goes over the door and if it's in your budget, some selectable dumbbells. With those two items, a chair, some ab work and push ups you can do pretty much anything you want to get back into shape. Add in some walking/jogging and that will help too. The most important thing, even more so than working out is nutrition. I keep mine pretty simple, lots of lean protein and as many fruits and vegetables and water as i want. I limit carbs for the most part but with my cycling ramping up i am adding more carbs into my diet. The best workout in the world means nothing if you are fueling your body with junk.

I would not use them in the application you mention. Why does it have to be mounted vertically? If you have cross beams or even a flat horizontal trailer it should be no issue to toss it on there and strap it down.

i believe shimano has an over the counter warranty...meaning you go in to the shop and they give you a new one. one of the reasons my next rod is going to be shimano, well that and i have only heard good things and my small local shop is a dealer and i would rather support them than bass pro to get my normal st croix rods

Cleveland has a great shot of coming out of the East next year but i don't think they can compete with the west unless they do a little more. Kyrie just got a whole lot better though with LBJ on the wing.....

The coosa is a very nice fly fishing platform....i am regretting selling mine but i guess that means i need to get another one
