  1. It might be different in Pa but in Missouri the boat can have the big motor or gas motor on the boat you just can not start it. I have an electric lake not far from me, I go there and tull around with the front mounted TM. Makes it a little tricky to load by other than that no issues. YMMV
  2. Rebooting fixes many problems on Android phones. Every once in a while I will have an issue where I need to pull the battery to fix it but that is rare. Mine will start consuming the battery for no apparent reason. A reboot will normally fix it.
  3. I just ordered one of these but haven't received it yet so I can't comment on it. http://www.cabelas.com/product/VEXILAR-SONAR-PHONE-W-XDCR-POD/1701938.uts?productVariantId=3548912&srccode=cii_17588969&cpncode=32-399392296-2&WT.tsrc=CSE&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=03732021&rid=20
  4. She's a looker
  5. I have had success with June bug in all color of water. Works really well at dusk for me. I'm going to have to try the June bug w/red flake in bright sun.
  6. I know your probably right, I just have a problem paying over about $30 for a pair of sunglasses. It's probably one of those things that if I did ever spend the $ to get a good pair I'd never buy a cheap pair again.
  7. That's where I learned to use a bait caster, much easer to get the hang of it in the yard with a practice plug. Great place to practice. Why waste time on the water learning or honing these skills.
  8. Neat story, think your right it's a perfect pond for introducing someone to fishing especially kids. I agree with C&G the pond is over populated with bass and maybe short on forage.
  9. Might try some PB Blaster, spray it let it set spray again, do this several times. Let it sit over night then try loosing it like above. Try to not get it on your carpet.
  10. A friend and I went to a small local lake that is normally packed with idiots on the weekend (this was Sunday) and the was him & I with 2 other guys across the lake. One other buddy showed up for awhile until his wife missed him and he had to go home. After lunch we went to a pond in a local park, when we got there we were the only ones. Another guy showed up then there was the guy with his kid that needed to be straightened out. The kid maybe 12 would come over to the side of the pond we were fishing and butt right in the middle between my buddy and I, or cast right were we were fishing. He didn't understand dirty looks so I finally had enough and explained to him that what he was doing was rude. That's the last I saw of him he went back to the otherside and stayed there. I was surprised there weren't more people out.
  11. Never heard this one before, thanks
  12. Killer deals. Your right the people working at Wally World generally are not the sharpest hook in the tackle box.
  13. Had that happen to me at Table Rock a couple of weeks ago. The water was white capping from the wind and boats and this gal about ran over my line in a canoe. She had a bigger set than me. I went to one of my local fishing holes this evening and got to fish alone. Going out in the morning to another place, we'll see how that goes.
  14. Welcome Marvin. Which part of STL you from? I live down south in the Fenton area.
  15. What conditions would you fish bubblegum?
  16. Never tried their bait casters but if they are anything like their spinning reels they are great. I have Presidents & Purist spinning reels, that's all I buy. My guess is your wife did good...
  17. Your gonna be busy for awhile pouring
  18. Was that the same guy? :-)
  19. There was some amazing shots in the video. Not to mention the fish......
  20. The biggest mistake people make is try and ground the trailer to the tow vehicle through the hitch. This does not work reliably. Always run the ground through the plug and like stated above make sure where the ground connects to the frame is clean and the connection is tight.. A bad ground can and will cause some strange things to happen.
  21. I use a transom saver on my 20hp Need. A transom saver is a good investment.
  22. Was reading KVD's Secrets of a Champion, he changes the front hook on many of his hard plastics to read depending on color, water color, and the sky.
  23. The only thing I have had luck with is the Rage 7" Thumper Best colors Green Pumpkin, Junebug I use 1/0 offset worm hooks and fish the weightless. Throw it out let it settle to the bottom, slowly reel it back pausing every crank or so
