Revisiting the "old hole"
I agree with you Razy. I fish some almost everyday and see gators everyday. I will stay in the boat thank you. i have had gators chase my baits and even caught a 3 footer on a Devilshorse a couple weeks ago.. Last winter there was a 14 yr old boy killed here on the Dead River. NO SIR I RESPECT THE GATORS and everyone should. CPR ;D

Breakin' Through Your Pads
Here in Florida some guys use what they call a "Florida rig" Basically it is a T=rig with a cone shaped sinker that has a threaded end that you screw into the worm. They use them in the weeds here. Here are the ones BPS carries http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=58029&hvarDept=100&hvarEvent=&hvarClassCode=10&hvarSubCode=3&hvarTarget=browse CPR ;D

Buzz and follow
Alot of the time I get follows on a buzzer or spinnerbait I like to go back in a couple times with a fluke. I always have a fluke on the front with as I find it the best "follow-up" bait for me. Give at least 3 or 4 cast in the same area. Hope this works for you. CPR ;D

Mike Iaconelli
I have not and probably won't read the book. I also think he over cooks his "act" The dude can fish though. I never cared for Roland either and I inherited a old fishing library and picked up a Roland book the other day and started reading...it is good, but old....Besides when you fish everyday it is hard to find time to read. I have alot of candles and I am planning to read these books during the hurricanes this year LOL CPR ;D

where do i find these?
As a kid I had a nightcraler business. The way we gathered them was: after a rain and after it gets good and dark take a flashlight and go pick the off the ground. Now you needed to be quick and have a good back, Most would be partially in a hole and if you was quick enough you could get them before they went completly into the hole. We even had old refridgerators sunk in the back yard to store them. It was a business that was nearly all profit, most people even brought their own containers. It also meant we could stay up late at night as kids..oh goody LMAO CPR ;D

Algae blooms
No this seams to be a common occurance here, They tell you not to eat too many fish whis this is happening. It's orange in some place, brown in other and green in some other place. I am told it has to do with the vegatation in the water. My dream of retiring on a lake in Florida and fishing 365 might not be as good as I dreamed CPA ;D

Algae blooms
OK guys, until I moved to Florida I had never heard of this, now my lake has turned orange. Can you catch fish when this happens??? How??? Come on some of you Florida Vets, help me. The water temp is between 85 and 90 and if you know anything about the Harris chain, you know there are no dropoff...It's like a big bowl of orange water CPR ;D

KVD's 11 pounder
That is a much better pic////////thanks CPR ;D
-
KVD's 11 pounder
That had to be 11 pounds because they weighed live. Somewhere on the forum I read about the bass pictures looking small in Bass magazine. This is the smallest looking 11 pounder I have ever seen. Go here and see if you agree http://espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/s/tourn_05_E50_TX_Lewisville_day1.html CPR ;D

I caught fish in the rain today and yesterday, but the were NOT bass. Darn dogfish*(mudfish, bowfin, grennel or all the above) tore up my spinnerbaits. I caught 6 today and 2 were over 10 lbs...I changed color of spinnerbaits, but then didn't catch anything CPR ;D
